"Jayde will you hurry up, we are going to miss the boat if you don't hurry up." Shannon whines as I'm trying to get everything into the back of her car. It's alright for her, her bags were light and easy to get in, mine on the other hand weight a tone. I can never pack light, I don't even know what that means really.

"Alright alright, these bags are heavy you know" I moan. Finally I put the last bag in the back seat then walk around to the passenger seat of the car, getting in. I put my phone into the aux cord and shuffle my playlist. Me and Shannon share similar interests in music, which is good.

"Let's do thiisssss" she cheers as she starts off on the road.

This is going to be a fun summer, I can feel it. We have been planning to go on a cruise together since well forever, since high school in fact when we were about 12 or 13. I'm so excited that the day has finally come, years later.

'Sorry' by Justin Bieber starts playing and me Shannon sing along out loud, with the window down. We don't care how many people are staring.

A few hours later we stop for gas and some snacks, we are about 20 mins away from the ship now so we don't need much, just enough to get us there. We are both getting pretty excited now. Once Shannon has paid for the stuff we head back on the road and shortly after we arrive at the water.

"Omg I see it!" I cheer, jumping out of the car and around the back to start unloading our bags.

A man in a white hat comes over to greet us and he helps unload our bags from the car to the boat.
