"How long do we have to wait?" Harry asks, biting his fingers as he paces around the hotel room.
"It says 3 minutes." I close my eyes and listen to my heart beating. I didn't even know someone in my position could get pregnant. Is it even save? What would the baby be, a vampire? A human? Both? I have so many questions spinning around my head I think it's going to explode.
"Babe, I can hear you overthinking from here. Please try to calm down. We're in this together okay? Whatever happens." Harry holds my hand and pulls me onto his lap.
I pass the stick to him without opening my eyes. "Tell me, what does it says harry?" I can't open my eyes, I physically cannot bring myself to do it. Not yet.
"Positive." He speaks up. I open my eyes slowly and see Harry's eyes are full with tears.
"Are you sad?" I ask.
"Jayde no. I'm over the moon. I didn't think I could ever have a baby." He looks into my eyes and I can feel the love between us.
"I must have fallen pregnant when I was still a human then?" I say, but it comes out as more of a question. I really don't know how else this would be possible.
"I guess so, that must mean you're pretty far gone. That would explain the sudden different in your size." He smiles. I love the way he says that, completely avoiding calling me fat.
"I'm going to book a doctors appointment." I say, quickly grabbing my phone.
"Okay. Please stop panicking though baby. I'm sure everything is as it should be."
