"I went to uni for two years where I played football. Believe it or not I originally majored in criminology. I only took it in high school because of this girl I had a crush on. Then I changed cause it was getting too complicated. I thought it was the best thing I ever did in life. My dad helped me get a job where my boss assigned me to the entertainment section." Louis can't shut up. We are currently on a date, after last night he asked me out and I agreed to it because I thought we had this amazing connection, but now I know it was just sexual frustration. He's not asked me a single question about me, he's just talked and talked and talked about himself for the last hour.

I glance at my watch for the third time tonight. I've never been this bored in my life. I don't know if he's nervous and just rambling to cover it up , or if he's really this self-absorbed. He seemed so different last night. Looks sure can be deceiving. I just wanna be hanging out with Shan and the other guys.

I take a sip of my water, biting on the chunk of ice that just slipped into my mouth. I look around at how beautiful this restaurant is, I really could enjoy this place, with someone a bit more interesting.

"My professor always told me I could do better" he's still going on. I have to stop myself from rolling my eyes.

"So what about you?" He finally asks. I almost choke on the bit of ice in my mouth.

"I didn't go to uni, I just went to college" I nod. God what a boring topic.

"Cool" he replies. "Can we get our check?" He asks as the waitress walks past our table. She nods and walks away. He turns back to me.

"I'm going back to my room now, goodnight Louis" I smile, standing up from the table. I put my half of the money down and walk away before he gets a chance to argue, I don't care if I was rude, I don't like self centred people.
