"Babe, shannon texted me her address. Do you fancy going round there now? I would like to tell them I'm pregnant. I think Shan will be so excited for me."

"Of course yeah, let's go." Harry smiles.

We get in the car and I put the address into the satnav and we head off. It's only 10 mins down the road which is really handy, I'm glad they're nearby.

When we pull up a bit of jealously rushes through me. This house is absolutely beautiful. It's exactly how I described my perfect house as I was growing up.

"Hey." Shan smiles in the doorway as we approach her.

"Shan this is gorgeous." I grin.

"Thank you. We were so lucky to grab it so quick." She says.

"Yeah very. We can't move into ours until next week."

"Well, come on in. Just have a look around while I finish preparing lunch."

"Actually, can I speak to you and Niall quickly. There's something I want to tell you both." I say. Shannon stops walking and turns to me, looking me up and down. I can see pure worry across her eyes.

"No, I'm okay don't worry." I say. But her face doesn't change.

"You're not pregnant are you?" She asks, it sounds like she's spitting the words out at me.

"Yeah I am." I nod. She looks at Niall behind her, then back to me with complete disgust.

"How could you do that to a child. Bring it up in a world like this. Being a vampire." She says.

"Excuse me?" Harry buts in.

"It's not fair on the child." She spits.

"Shan. I seriously thought you'd be a bit happier than that for me. I'm having a baby with a man I'm in love with. It's what we've both always spoke about growing up. How dare you talk to me like that, like I'm doing something wrong. I'm not doing anything wrong."

"Don't talk to me like that in my house. If I think it's disgusting then I have every right to say so." Shan bites back.

"I think you both better leave." Niall sighs.

"Don't worry, we're going. I'm certainly not coming back either. I don't want someone who feels so disgusted by me and my child around my family anyway." I spit before grabbing Harry's hand and marching out the front door.

A lifelong friendship done. Over. Finished.
