Annabelle and Nathan were running to their house to grabbed some medical supplies. "I can't believe it, first those preps beat us up, and now mom and dad are divorcing." "Yeah, but..." They were interrupted by their parents when they come home. "Sweetie, i'm so sorry." Mrs. Hil said in a sad tone. "What happened while we were in collage?" Nathan asks. Mr. and Mrs. Hil stood quiet. "Tell us!" Annabelle screamed at them. "While you two were in collage, your father was having a affair with some other woman..." Mrs. Hil explained. "You disgust us, dad!" Annabelle said. Mr. Hil stared down with guilt. "It's true, and your mother and I are planning to having a divorce." "And to go on our separate ways." Annabelle was holding back tears. "Great, just great." Nathan stated. "It's all your fault!" Annabelle and Nathan took off running outside.
Behind them were their parents calling out their name. "Annabelle!" "Nathan, we're sorry!" But they ignore their words, and continue on running past the forests. "It's almost sundown!" Annabelle said as she stopped. "Yeah." "Maybe the circus might let us stay there." Annabelle continued. "Now wait about a minute, are you sure they might let us stay there?" Annabelle laughed. "That circus is the town's main entertainment for outsiders. Besides, we been there before." "Well, I suppose so." Annabelle smiled. "Great, besides this might be my chance for me to meet Snakey again!" Nathan laughed.
"You two are like partners in crime!" "Yeah!" They continued on walking past oak trees, acorn trees, pine trees, rose bushes, even past an abandon house. "Remember that legend?" "Is it the one with the Ringmaster that, supposedly, kills his victims and feed them to the circus freaks?" "Yeah that's the one." "Is it okay, if I can go check it out?" Annabelle asks. "No, besides we better get to the circus before the sun goes down." Annabelle sighed, and nod her head. It was dead silent, until they started to hear circus music.
"Stop!" Nathan said. "Why?" "You hear that?" Annabelle listened. "Yes, we must be close!" "Yeah, come on!" They followed the sound, until the circus tents can be seen. "This is it!"
