"It was okay, by the way, where's dad?" Nathan asks. Mrs. Hil was quiet, "Where is he?" Annabelle asks. "Your father left the house." Everyone stood quiet, except for Annabelle. Annabelle started to sob again, and ran up to her room. "Sweetie?" Nathan gave his mother a mean glare. "Why? Why do you and dad have to fight? I'll bet both of you don't know how bad it is causing us." "But, sweetie..." Mrs. Hil was interrupted. "No, don't even dare call us that; I remember the good times we used to have AS A FAMILY! We don't even know you guys anymore." The tone of his voice started to get shaky. "Thanks...for messing up our lives..." Soon, Nathan ran up to his room.

"Do you have the keys to the car?" Annabelle asks. "I don't know." "What do you mean, I don't know?" "I looked all over the house, and still no key." Nathan started to get frustrated. "Can we just go ride a bus..." "No, I don't what to do; dad's gone, your friend is gone, we just got beat up earlier today, and the freaking keys are gone, so maybe if you shut up and let me think. Then I can figure it out a plan!" Annabelle stood quiet, and drag herself to bed. "That was the first." She said to herself. "Maybe he's right... maybe there's no chance for us." She drop on her bed, and place her head on the pillow. "I hope this will get better..." That was the last thing, Annabelle said before she fell asleep.

Two hours later, Nathan was still wide awake. "What am I going to do?" He said to himself. "Though, I wonder, if we solve at least one murder case. Will everything go back from the way it was?" Nathan decided to get out of his bed, and walked to his desk. "Maybe, just maybe, in one of these books, it may have something to do with the murder case that happened here not to long ago!" He thought. He grabbed one book, and sat down on his chair and read. He read and read, but still no murder case that deal in Louisville. After one book, he grabbed another one and read it, until one book has one murder case that was in Louisville.

It took place in the same circus that Annabelle and him went to last night. "Oh my God!" He said in a whisper voice. The text read out: The Ringmaster killed 38 of his victims, and fed the bodies to the circus freaks. On July 21, 1976, the Ringmaster was caught by the Louisville police and sent to prison, but he manage to escape. So far, no one knows where he is. Nathan stopped reading, and ran out of his room. "I got to tell Annabelle about this!" He thought. When he reach his sister's room, he notice one of the drawings  on Annabelle's desk was a picture of the Ringmaster.

He stared at the creepy picture, and continue to wake Annabelle from her slumber. "Annabelle!" He whispered to her loudly. "Wha?" She slowly open up her eyes. "Nathan, what is it?" She asks. "It's the Ringmaster; he did killed 38 people and was sent to prison. He's back!" Annabelle got up, and stared at her brother with shock. "I knew he was evil! What are we going to do?" She asks her older brother. "We need to wait for the 30th, if we go now, he might capture us and turn us into one of them." Annabelle listened.

"If we kill him, we might be able to set everyone free." Annabelle nod her head. "Alright, but tomorrow I want to see dad and grandma again." "Okay; well you go get some rest." Right when Nathan was about to walked out of her room, Annabelle smiled and said, "Thanks for being there for me." Nathan smiled. "That's what older siblings are supposed to do, to look after the younger siblings." Nathan walked back to his bedroom, and fall to his bed. "Tomorrow is going to be busy." He thought, and soon. Nathan was asleep.
