It was around five AM, and Annabelle was the first to be awoken. There weren't much to do in her room, so she got up from her bed, and walked up to her desk. She pulled out the same picture that she found last night. "Oh, snakey, I just wish that you and I can meet again." Annabelle said to herself. She stared at the picture, and remembered the times that they spent together. The first day they met, the day he gave her flowers, and that day he stopped her from being hit by a bus. Annabelle had feelings toward him, but some she don't even know. She can't tell if it's love or not.

She sat down on her bed, and lay her head against the soft bluish pillow. Slowly she tries to remember  her past. When the Snakeboy and her first met. It was snowing softly and slowly from the grayish clouds, and the forests were dead silent. There was Annabelle, just standing, watching as the snow fall softy on her coat. "I wonder what am I going to do today?" She said to herself. She started to smile while she thought up a plan for entertainment. "I'll sing!" She started to sing out Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and a lullaby that she remembered when her mother used to sing to her. She sang and sang, until she heard a noise coming from the bushes. She turned her head quickly, and stared into a empty space. "Who's there?" She asked.

No answer. "Who's there!" She started to yell. "Umm..." Just then, a young boy, same age as her, pops his head above the bush. He had dark brownish mixed with black hair, his eyes were gray as silver, and he was wearing a brownish old coat. "Please don't hurt me!" He backed away from her, and covered his head with his hands. Annabelle was shocked from what he looked like, but for some reason she felt like he might be the only friend for her. Annabelle smiled. "It's okay, I won't hurt you." The young boy stared into her bluish eyes, and slowly walking up to her. "Is something wrong?" Annabelle asked. "Uhh..." He was too afraid to speak to her. "You're just scared because you never had a friend. Am I right?" The young boy slightly nodded his head.

"My name's Annabelle, Annabelle Hil. What's your name?" She asks. "Umm...William." He said in a nervous tone. "You don't have a last name?" Annabelle asks. William shook his head no. "I don't have a mother nor a father." Annabelle's bluish eyes became wide. "What? You got to?" She said. "I don't know." "Well, if you need a friend,  I am here." Annabelle said with a smile. "But..." William was interrupted. "I'm going to call you Snakey or Snakeboy for now on." "Why?" Annabelle laughed. "Your tounge, it's shaped like a snakes tongue." William look at his tongue and smiled. "Your right!" Slowly the memory vanishes when Annabelle heard her brother screaming out her name. "Annabelle!" She opened up her eyes, and got up from her bed. "What?" She asks.

"It's time for breakfast." Annabelle laughed. "Oh, haha." "Just get dressed." Those were Nathan's last words before he went downstairs. After about five minutes, Annabelle came downstairs and sat at the table. "Good morning you two." Ms. Hil said while she put blueberry pancakes on Nathan and Annabelle's plates. "Good." "That's nice, well eat up!" She place the plates right in front of Nathan and Annabelle. "Are you guys ready to go shopping?" Mr. Hil said. Mrs. Hil happy expression goes away quickly when she heard his voice. "You can get your own food."

"What happened to you guys? You guys used to be all lovey dovey toward each other." Nathan said. "Let's just say something bad happened between us." Mrs. Hil answered back. After breakfast, Annabelle cleaned the dishes while Nathan brushed his teeth, and soon, they were ready to leave the house. "Did you lock the door?" Mrs. Hil ask Mr. Hil. "Yeah." "Everyone get inside of the car." Mrs. Hil called out. Annabelle sat on the driver side in the back, while Nathan sat on the passenger's seat. "What happened?" Annabelle thought.

While they were on there way to Riverath mall, they were stuck in traffic. "Great, just great!" Mr. Hil said. Annabelle and Nathan looked outside to see what the view was, and Annabelle was the first to notice that her friend, Snakeboy, was on the Circus poster. "It's Snakey!" She called out. "What?" Nathan asks. "Look!" Nathan, Ms. Hil, and Mr. Hil looked, and were surprised to see Snakeboy with green skin. "It's no longer Snakeboy anymore, it's Snakeman." Nathan said. "What happened to you, Snakey?" Annabelle said to herself. "Will it make you two feel better, if we go to that old silly circus?" Nathan and Annabelle cheered. "Yeah!"

Mrs. Hil gave Mr. Hil a evil glare, and ignored his words. "I can't believe it, but what time though?" Annabelle asks. "Well it said, it started around 10:00 PM and ends around 11:30 PM." Mr. Hil read the time from the poster, and noticed that traffic has moved. "I can't believe it!" Annabelle thought. After driving to parts of Louisville, the Hils were finally at Riverath Mall.
