While Annabelle and Nathan were watching the Ringmaster calling out more of the circus freaks, Annabelle notice someone that is in one of the cages in the back. "Something is not right." "Yeah, after the show, we're going to check it out." Annabelle nod her head, and watch the Ringmaster's movements. "Make sure all you guests takes some good pictures because our next act might shock you. Next up is Snakeman!" When Annabelle heard his name, she got up and ran down the steps. "Annabelle!" Nathan whispered loudly. "This might be my only chance." She thought. "Come back!" Nathan decided to ran after her. "My my, one of our guess must really want to see him." The Ringmaster eager on. "Well, come on out." He said in his childish voice.

One of the staff unlock the cage; slowly, the Snakeman started to walk toward the main light that was shinning on him. "He was abandon as a child because of his skin; throughout childhood he had no friends except for his snakes..." Suddenly the Ringmaster was interrupted by Annabelle. "That's not true!" The Ringmaster turned to look at her, and gave her a death glare. "And I'm  guessing that your the guest that ran down the steps, eh?" He looked down at her, eye to eye. "Yeah, and I'm his friend, so before you tell anymore lies, you need to get the facts straight." The Ringmaster was holding back his anger, and continue on with the circus. "Everyone, meet Snakeman!" The Ringmaster stepped back, by leaving Annabelle in the main entrance of his cage.

"Snakey..?" Annabelle whispered. Snakeman didn't make any noise. "Snakey it's me, Annabelle!" Snakeman slowly stepping out of the darkness that cause him to be afraid. "It's me..." Snakeman walked up to her, face to face, and grabbed her hand. "Anna...belle?" "Yes, do you remember?" Annabelle asks. Snakeman nod his head, but she can tell the fear that lies in his eyes. "Oh my Lord; thank heaven your okay..." Annabelle hugged him, and place her left hand on the back of his neck. When she did that, she can feel the reptile's skin. "What happened to you?" She asks. Snakeman looked back at the Ringmaster, which was giving him a evil smile. "It would be best for you and your brother to go back to your seats." Annabelle was confused. "What?" "Just go." He hugged her one more time, and shove her away from him. "But..." "Annabelle, come here." Nathan commanded. Annabelle nod her head, and walked back to their seats.

"So, are you happy to see your friend again?" Nathan asks. "Something is wrong with him; I can see it in his eyes...everyone's eyes. It's fear and confusion. We just got to save them!" She whispered to her brother. "Now, let's see what else can the Snakman do!" The Ringmaster spoken. Annabelle can still see the sadness that's in his eyes. "Oh, Snakey..." She said to herself. "Now, Snakeman, what are you going to do next?" The Ringmaster asks. "I will show everyone a dangerous snake that I had spoken to." The Ringmaster laughed. "Well, show us!" The Snakeman walked over to the audience, and grabbed the snake, that was slithering around his neck, and whipped it like a whip. The audience screamed in fear, but Annabelle didn't. She just stared at the snake as if the snake wanted to be her friend.

"Your not afraid; how come?" The Snakeman asks. "I had been through worst." It was quiet between Snakeman and her, but she watched his, light green mixed with real live snake, eyes as if something was drawing her to it. Then, the snake moves up to her face, and stares at her eyes. "He likes you." Snakeman said. "And I like him to." Snakeman and Annabelle smiled, until the Ringmaster started to speak again. "Look at the time; Snakeman, come right back to the cage." Soon, Snakeman's smile turned into a dark sorrow frown. "Snakey?" Annabelle asks again, but Snakeman left her, same with the other guests that were watching them. When Snakeman got inside his cage, the Ringmaster smiled. "Our two final acts today, people. Meet Crazy Louis and The Twin Clowns!"

Annabelle and Nathan watched as the two come out of their cages, but one of them were tied up. "The twins!" Nathan said. "Is it me or they looked switched up?" Annabelle said. "Yeah, we really need to find out about this place and those people." Nathan said. "Yeah." They were interrupted by the Ringmaster's voice. "The twins were abandon, same as Snakeman, but only they have each other, so they stayed by each other's side till they die." The Twin Clowns started to walk around, throwing pies, making funny jokes, except only for one thing. They weren't smiling. "Look at their expressions!" Nathan said. Annabelle's eyes became wider.

"I wonder what happened to all of them?" She said. "Same here." "Alright you two, time to go back to your cage!" The Twins nodded, and walk to their cages, while one of the the circus freaks, that was tied, came out. "And this my friends, is Crazy Louis. Louis used to lived in a mansion, full of rich people, until one day his family was killed in a fire. Now, the haunting images of his family being burn alive still haunts him." Annabelle stared at the young man, but something caught her eye.  There was dry blood on his clothing! "Blood?" She thought. "Nathan, look at Louis's clothes!" Nathan looked, and was shock from what he saw. "Why is there blood on his clothing?" He asks.

"That's my question!" They were, once again, interrupted by the Ringmaster. "I hope everyone has a good time at the circus today, and don't forget to stop by and take a look at the freaks up close. Next time the circus will start again on the July 30th. Goodnight, and have wonderful day tomorrow." Soon, the audience started to walk toward the exit; Annabelle and Nathan followed them, but they decided to walked inside of a tent that said, Snakeman on it. "This must be his room!" Annabelle started to walk around the room, and started to search for Snakeman's stuff, until a male voice interrupted them.
