Danny's POV

Oh, I'm going to get my "revenge" on Callie, and I will have fun doing it! Of course it won't hurt, that'd be wrong, but I can't believe she showed Jessie the stash! Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway. Jessie and I watch The Princess and the Frog, singing along with the movie. Don't judge. After a little more than an hour and a half, the movie ends. Jessie gets up to get ready for bed, since she's staying the night. I get up myself and go to check on Callie. I open the door slowly to find her light still on, but she's fallen asleep while reading a book.

I carefully take the book from her and mark her spot (or where I assume her spot is) and set it on the night stand next to the bed. I pick her up and pull back the covers before setting her back down and covering her back up. I take out her braids and put the hair ties next to her book. She stirs in her sleep, but doesn't wake up. I gently run my hand through her hair until she returns to a relaxed sleep. She rolls over onto her side, clutching an extra pillow to her with her small hands. I rub her shoulder and kiss her cheek before turning off the light and leaving the room.

I walk into my room and grab a pair of pajamas. I change into them with my back to Jessie, who's sitting on my bed. "So, sleeping arrangements for the night...I'll take the couch?" I offer.

"Last time you did that, you fell off the couch," she says mildly.

"Your point being?" I demand.

"You woke everyone up."

"Okay, but we still need to figure out where we're sleeping."

"Danny, your bed's big enough for two people..."

"Are you comfortable with that?"

"If you are."

Hell yes I'm comfortable with that. "Yeah, that's fine," I say. We both jump into bed and I shut the light. Within minutes, we are both asleep.

I'm awoken the next morning by a clatter of pots and pans coming from the kitchen. I roll over and look at my clock. 9:47. Jessie's already up. I roll out of bed and shuffle blearily into the kitchen, rubbing my eyes. "Well good morning, sleeping beauty!" Jessie remarks dryly.

"Mornin' Jess, mornin' Callie," I mumble, sitting down at the table. It smells like Jessie and Callie are making a full fry-up. I stand up and make myself a cup of tea, and cups for them, too. I set them on the table and ask, "You ladies need any help?"

"Nah, we're good. We don't want you to burn down your lovely kitchen," Jessie says teasingly. I roll my eyes at her, grinning. After a few minutes, breakfast is set on the table and the three of us quickly eat. Afterwards, Jessie asks, "Can I have a shower? I'm going into the studio today."

"Yeah, sure. Controls are touchy, be warned," I reply. She nods, clears her plate, and heads off to shower. "I'm going into the studio, too," I tell Callie. "Will you be okay here alone?"

"Perfectly okay," she assures me.

"Meaning you won't run off?" I ask her sharply as she puts her plate in the sink. I notice her tense up slightly, but she says quietly, "Of course I won't run off."

"Are you lying to me, Callie?" I ask her softly.

"I'll run out, maybe. I can't stand just sitting around all day doing nothing. But I won't run off..."

"You choose your words carefully."

"I meant what I said and said what I meant."

"An elephant's faithful 100%..." I mumble, more to myself than to her. She smiles. She asks, "You've seen Horton Hears a Who?"
