1: Meeting Shane Dawson

Lucy's P.O.V
I sat in bed with my laptop screen lighting up my face. It was just a typical Friday night here at Sunnyhill orphanage. I clicked on YouTube and opened up my subscription box. As per usual, Shane had uploaded a video.
Just as I was about to click on it there were 3 light knocks on my door. "Come in!" I shouted. As the door opened I saw a recognizable face. It was Nicola. She was here when I first arrived and we clicked immediately. She has always been there for me and had my back. "Have you picked out an outfit yet?" She asked looking at me curiously. "What for?" I replied
"Haven't you heard? People are coming here tomorrow looking for someone to adopt!" I immediately leaped from my bed and headed over to my closet. What am I going to wear? I thought to myself. I hunted high and low until I found a burgundy skater skirt and a cream knitted jumper. I also pulled out my knee high socks and my ankle boots. "Omg perfect!" Nicola said excitedly. "Now get to bed you, we have a big day tomorrow!" She then left my room and I closed my laptop put it on my nightstand and hoped into bed.

As I began to open my eyes I turned my gaze to the alarm clock.
09:38 am
Guess I should wake up. I headed down to the kitchen where Mabel was making breakfast. "Ah, Lucy have some pancakes!" She said offering me a plate with a stack of pancakes on them. I smiled in appreciation and headed back to my room. I sat and ate my pancakes then went to the shower room. I lathered my hair in my favorite coconut scented shampoo and matching conditioner. I then rinsed it out and went back to my room and started getting ready. I put on the outfit I had chosen the night before, curled my hair and added minimum makeup.
"Nicola are you ready?" I shouted through her door. "Just coming!" She shouted back. She walked out of the room and we both went to the living room waiting to be called.
"Lucy you're up!" Called the head of the orphanage. I headed to the small room and opened the door. I looked inside to find someone I never thought I would see.
