1:Meeting Shane Dawson(part 2)

I took my seat at the table opposite Shane.
"Good morning you must be Lucy yes?" He asked smiling. I shyly nodded. "Ready when you are," he said. The timer started. I had 5 minutes to tell him about me.
"Hi, my name is Lucy I'm 16 years old. I love dogs and I also love to read and bake. I make a quite good red velvet cake if I don't say so myself." He chuckled. "But none of those hobbies would compare to my love of YouTube. I never really had anyone here so I always resorted back to it. I kind want to be one myself but I never really had the confidence." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "So what kind of you tubers do you watch?" He asked
"Well there is quite a long list so be prepared, I love practically all American YouTubers like o2l, Trisha, Drew, Joey, Tyler and of course you."
He looked up at me,"I.." He was cut off by the timer telling my time was up. "Thanks for listening to me ramble on!" I say getting up from my seat. "It was my pleasure!" He replied. I opened the door and headed back to the living room where I waited to find out who was getting adopted. Usually, I wouldn't get nervous I knew no one wanted to adopt, but this was Shane Dawson!
After a 10 minute wait which felt like an hour the office door was opened. "Lucy go pack you're going with Shane," Mrs. Murphy said. I jumped off my seat and sprinted to my room. I have never felt so happy before. I could run, jump, dance out of happiness. I burst open my door and grabbed my suitcase and piled the contents of my room into it. I walked to my door taking one last look at my now empty room. I called the place home for so many years and now I was leaving. I headed to Nicola's room.
I opened the door and she was sitting on her bed staring off into space. I went and sat beside her and took her hand. "Call me everyday, promise" I whispered. She nodded. I grabbed her into a huge hug. "I'll miss you so very much, I'll try to visit." I grabbed my suitcase and left looking at Sunnyhill once more saying my goodbyes. Shane took my suitcase and wheeled it to the trunk of his car and place it in it.
Shane hopped into the driver's seat and me on the passenger's side. "Do you mind if I play some music?" Shane asked I nodded and he hit play on his phone.
You and I
We were onto something now I'm left with nothing at all.
"Do you know this?"
"Of course!"
Shane smiled at me, "That's my girl!"
I felt so wanted at that moment. Shane turned up the volume as we both sang along. The rest of the ride was filled with giggles, singing at the top of our lungs and throwing a lot of shade.
