I stood up out of the chair that I was previously tied to and walked over to the sobbing mess on the floor. I wrapped Alyssa in my arms, it brought back memories of when I would hold Matthew after he was abused by his parents. She gripped onto my arms tighter, she was shaking uncontrollably. "Why are you helping me, Lucy?" She mumbled through tears pouring down her face. "Because you were once family to me Alyssa, I never stopped caring about you, not for an instant. Matthew was the love of my life and even though he wasn't my brother I miss him almost as much as you do and I would do anything that I thought would be seeking justice for him." She looked up at me, her eyes glistening and suddenly I got a look at the young girl that I remembered, "Thank you, Lucy, I'm so sorry that I did this to you I'm going to get help I promise." I picked her up and helped her to her feet. "You need to talk to Trevor now Alyssa," I say, I was worried about her talking to Trevor again. Yes, I had forgiven her for the torture she had put me through but that was nothing compared to what she had done to Trevor. "Yeah I know," She said I could hear her voice shaking. I gripped her hand a little tighter and smiled down at her. I was going to be there for her no matter what, I owed it to Matthew. She led me through a long corridor that was painted an ugly color, sort of a beige/ brown color. Nothing about my surroundings gave away our location. "Alyssa, where are we?" I asked looking around to see if anyone other than us or her "boys" were around. "Oh, we're at the bottom of the hotel, my cousin owns this hotel and I had asked her to make sure no one was around for a little while" I sighed a sigh of relief. We weren't far away from where we were actually staying, I could simply go upstairs and find everyone.

We came to a black, wooden door that had multiple locks on it. Alyssa looked at the sides of her at the two muscular men that had followed us from the room that we had just left. They both started to unlock each padlock, one at a time. It seemed to be taking forever I just want to make sure that Trevor is alright. The door creaked open and at the corner of the black room sat a curled up Trevor who was too scared to even look up. "It's ok Trev, I'm here," He looks up at me and I can see his face light up. He jumped up to his feet and ran to me and held on to me like his life depended on it. "What happened?" He asked, his voice was hoarse and his cheeks were tear-stained this poor boy was terrified. "Alyssa and I had a lot of talking to do, it's all ok between us but I think she has something to say to you," I move out of the way to reveal a shy, timid Alyssa behind me. She was playing with the hem of her skirt in a nervous way. "Hey, Trev," She says in a quiet voice. I stepped away out of the room to let them have their privacy, Alyssa had a lot of explaining to do. I closed the door gently trying not to disturb them and I stood outside with a couple of Alyssa's boys. "So.." I say looking around at the tall men. "Today surely has been eventful," I nervously chuckle. "I'm Joe by the way and him over there that's Noah," The guy with the dark hair and beard says as he points to the other guy at the other side of the room. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Joe and Noah, I'm Lucy but I'm sure you knew that and I'm sorry that we met in such strange circumstances," They both laugh to themselves, "Me too," Says Noah, the one with the bleach blonde hair and numerous tattoos scattered across his body. I smiled and them both when the door creaks open once more. I look up at them both and they seem to be smiling at each other, my heart flutters because I'm happy. "Thanks, Lucy I really owe you big time," Alyssa says to me with a smile plastered on her face. She looked so much like Matthew when she smiled and my heart hurt once more. "I'm glad you're happy Alyssa, you deserve to be." And with that, a small tear fell down her face as she smiled again. Trevor moved over and wiped the tear from her face using his thumb. "I don't know about you guys but I'm hungry how about we head to Chipotle or something and grab a bite to eat?" I ask as I feel my stomach rumbling, I hadn't eaten all day because I was so worried and stressed and upset. But I'm good now. I, Alyssa and Trevor all link arms as we proceed to walk along the yellow arrows painted on the floor. I pause for a moment and look over my shoulder. "Are you guys not coming too?" I ask Noah and Joe. They look at each and then back at me again. "Of course we are!" They say almost in unison as they walk to catch up with us.

What a day we have had, I thought to myself. But I felt satisfied as if a void had been filled. Now all that's left to do is explain this crazy mess to Shane.
