Lucy's P.O.V
"I better go get ready for vidcon I have have a panel in an hour," dan says nuzzling his nose against mine. "Yeah I better get ready to I think I am going on with Zoe," I reply. "Well best of luck babe you'll do great," I smile at the thought of Dan calling me babe. It seemed so strange yet so right. "What are you smiling at?" He says half chuckling. "Oh nothing anyway let's get sorted," I say leaving his arms. (Even though I could stay there forever) "What no goodbye kiss?" He says frowning. I slowly walk back over to him amd wrap my arms around his neck pulling him into me. Our lips join together for a long, passionate kiss. "Goodbye," we both whisper and he leaves the room closing the door slowly behind him.
I walk over to my mountain of clothes to search for something half decent to wear when there was a knock at the door. Dan couldnt be back already maybe he left something here? I look through the peep hole and get excited when I see who it is. "Dad!" I say opening the door and grabbing him into a hug. "How are you sweetheart
, im sorry that I haven't been around lately but I have been working on something very special and now that I can tell you I ran all the way here!" 'Omg come in come in you seem so excited this must be good news!"
He came in amd sat on the chair beside my bed and I sat cross legged on my bed waiting for the news. "Well a few months before I adopted you I was given the offer to write a book and of course I said yes! So they have just finished printing off the first five copies and I want you to have one," he takes an yellow like book out of his bag and hands it to me. I can tell it's so shane by the title. "I hate my selfie" I open up the book slowly and on the first page in his writing it reads.  "To my dearest Lucy whom I love very much" I felt tears rise to my eyes. "Im so proud of you dad!" I say squeezing onto him for dear life. "Thank you so much lucy it means the world knowing I have your support." He smiles. "Well I'll leave you to get ready. I love you"  "I love you to," I say as he leaves the room.
I walk back to my clothes and pull out some short black overalls and a white t-shirt. I quickly shower and pull on my outfit and slip on my white converse when my phone lights up notifying my that I have a text from Zoe.
Z : you ready for today first ever panel?
L: yeah im a little nervous but not as nervous as I thought I would be
Z: you'll be fine because I'll be with you the whole time but can I ask you something?
L: sure shoot
Z: do you know what's gotten into dan like he just seems so happy and smiley all of a sudden
L: well he did ask me to be his girlfriend
Z: omg I knew it I want all the details meet me in the lobby in ten minutes then we can head off to get breakfast before the panel
I smiled as I locked my phone screen. I grabbed my keys purse and sunglasses and headed out the door. What a fun day this shall be!
What didn't she just update wth?  Yes I thought you all deserved a double update might be a triple one if I dint fall asleep because it's not like it's 4 in the morning where I live also another huge thank you to you! Yes you, you wonderful reader I love you and you're amazing.
