I woke up in a dark room, it was cold and damp. I tried to sit up but my head was spinning, what happened? Where was I? Then it hit me my dead ex's crazy sister kidnapped me. What happened to her? She used to be so sweet amd funny. I look to my left and there was another figure laying there. Please tell me that's not a dead body i thought to myself. I went over and did what any logical person would do and poked it. The person shifted and i could see their face. Trevor. I shook him and his eyes fluttered open. "Lucy?" He whispered. "Trevor thank God you're not dead!" I said aloud. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Why are you here Trevor?" I asked. I had no idea Alyssa knew him. "I went against what Alyssa wanted." He spoke. I was confused. "What?" He looked at me and sighed. "I met her a few years ago, after Mathew died, she was an absoloute mess. I offered to be her friend and after a while we just sort of clicked. I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. That was the worst mistake I ever made." I could tell that it was making him upset. "What happened Trevor?" I asked. "Well on the first anniversary of Matthew's death she just went crazy, she screamed at anything and anyone. She talked about you a lot." He said. "Me? Why me?" "Well she thinks that you're the reason that her brother comitted suicide, she wouldnt listen to her parents. They cleaned up their act ya know? After he killed himself they stopped drinking they sat her down one day and explained everything, that they were abusive that Matthew was being bullied and that you were the only will he found to live," hearing this made my eyes well up. I remember everything so clearly, the abuse, the bullying, the drinking. "She thinks you were the one bullying him," Trevor whispered.
All of a sudden the door bursts open and in walks Alyssa. "Nice to see you little brats have made up," she spat. She looked at me dead in the eye. "You have a lot of explaining to do bitch, boys bring her to the next room and tie her to the chair!" Her 'boys' lifted me up and dragged me to a room that you would usually see in a movie when people would be interagated. They tied me to a chair in the middle of the room then left.
I sat in the room by myself for 15 before she came in. "Alyssa why are you doing this?" I ask. "Bitch you know all too well why you are here!" She shouts back. "Why? Because you thought I bullied you're brother? Because you were too blind to see that I was the only thing trying to keep him alive?" She looked at me in shock. "No you bullied him, you hurt him!" I could see that her shell was cracking she had tears in her eyes. "I hurt him huh? I bullied him? Yet I was the one that held him while he broke down, I was the one who helped him clear up his cuts, I was the one sneaking him out of his house and into mine to keep him away from your abusive parents!" I screamed taking a moment to breathe. "You did that?" She as whispering now. "Yes of course I did that! I did that and more why? Because I fucking loved your brother I was willing to die for him!" She was speechless. She then pulled a knife out of her pocket and began walking towards me. I began to shake, she didn't believe me and was now going to kill me. She walked to the back of me and cut the rope the was keeping me tied down. I rubbed my wrists that were now burning. "Why did you do that?" I whisper. "Im sorry. I've been depressed since he died and I went crazy I think it's time I get it sorted out." By now she was crying. I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. "Matthew loved you just as much as you love him and while he wouldn't be proud of what you just did i'm sure he'll be happy to know you're getting help," she pulled me tighter. "Thanks Lucy I guess that is what I needed to hear." This filled a hole in my heart, a hole that no matter how hard I tried I could never fill. It was now time to put the past behind me. It was history now
