16: Panic attacks

Lucy's P.O.V
I gently jog down the stairs when I bump into someone. "Omg im so sorry!" I say. "Dont worry about it im fine, hey aren't you shane dawsons daughter?" The woman in front of me replies. I look up at her observing her. She had long black hair and dark brown eyes. There was something so familiar about her. "Yes I am and you are?" I reply back in my sweetest voice. "Oh im lily Singh im a youtuber as well." Then it clicked. "Oh im so stupid you're superwoman right? I knew I recognised you!" We both chuckled and then exchanged numbers saying that we were going to stay in touch.
I walked to the entrance of the hotel where I saw zoe. "Good morning Zoe how are you?" I say pulling her into a hug. "Im fine thanks but I need to know the details you and dan eh?" She winked. "Come on lets go and get breakfast and I'll explain what went on," I laughed at zoe and walked on with her quickly following behind me.     ----------------------------------------------------------
"And then he asked you to be his girlfriend and you said yes?" Zoe exclaims. I nod my head while smiling remembering what had happened the night before. "Awww does your dad know?" I shook my head. "Not yet I plan on telling him later on tonight though I don't plan on keeping secrets from him," I say clearing my section of the table. Zoe glances down at her phone. "We need to get going we have our meet amd greet in 20 minutes and I don't intend on being late," we link arms and walking out of the building over to where we will be meeting the viewers. "Do you think they'll like me zoe?" I say, the nerves were beginning to hit me. "They'll love you, you're such a lovable person I can't see why they won't love you!" Zoes comment made me relax slightly until we got there and peeked through the curtain at the mass amounts of people. I suddenly felt hot all over but cold at the same time. My heart was racing and I could hear it beating in my ears. My breathing was becoming faster and my throat felt like it was closing in on itself. I began to see black dots and my legs turned to jelly. "Hey babe," I heard someone whisper on my ear but it sounded like they were shouting. I turn around to face the person and it was dan. "Lucy are you ok?" I tried to speak but my throat was so dry I couldnt. "She having a panic attack dan carry her over to that sofa and get her a blanket and a glass of water and ill sit with her until she calms down," Dan picked me up and lay me on the sofa and then ran off to do what zoe had told him to do. "Ok lucy im going to need you to calm down and breathe in and out nice and slowly you're going to be ok," I listen to zoes words I breathe in and out following exactly what zoe was doing. My heart rate was slowly but surely returning back to its normal pace. "Here lucy here's some water and a chocolate bar." Dan whispers, his face riddled with concern. "Thank you," I manage to say. "Are you feeling any better Lucy," Zoe asks. I slowly nod my head. "Yes thank you zoe and thank you to dan." "Why thank me I only brought you water and chocolate,?" He chuckled. "Are you feeling up to this meet and greet or do you want me to explain what's going on?" Zoe asks. I shake my head. "No im going out there they paid to see me and im not going to let them down, I was nervous but I think I can handle this now." I say looking at zoe. "Ok 5 minutes and then we go in ok?" I nod my head. "Im going to go make sure louise is ready so ill leave you to alone, " Zoe winks and then walks off. As soon as zoe is gone I pull Dan into a much needed hug. "That was so scary I needed a hug," I say. "Im ok with surprise hugs," he replies and we both chuckle. "Are you sure you're ok to go on?" He asks. "Yes I'll be ok with zoe and knowing that you'll be waiting for me," I smile gently pecking his lips. "That's right I'll be waiting right here for you when you get back," he pulls me into a passionate kiss that lasts for about 30 seconds. "Right lover birds that's enough me zoe and lucy have a meet and greet to do," I hear louise say. "Bye." I whisper to dan. "Go get em tiger!" He says. Me louise and zoe walk up to the curtain and step out. The crowd starts screaming and the nerves disappear.
