Y/n pov
Brice. I've never heard that name, and yet, it seemed so familiar. I gave him a wary smile, "Nice to meet you, Brice." He nodded as an agreement, turning away. Once again, his cold composure appeared, "So, Y/n, how'd you get here?" I shifted slightly, should I tell him? My thoughts swarmed. Deciding I was taking to long, he continued to speak, "You met the brothers? I assume?" I felt the breath leave my system. After a few, hard seconds, I opened my mouth to speak, my throat felt tight, "H-how did you know?" He snorted, "As I said, only one portal." A heavy silence filled the small space, Brice stayed where he was, starring at the rock wall. Finally, I spoke, "Is that how you got here? Th...threw the portal?" He looked back at me, his blazing eyes holding a mocking glare, "No, I rode here on a magical unicorn." I flinched. He didn't seem to care at the moment, "Of course I came here threw that damned portal!" "Wh-why?" I squeaked, "I mean, why did you decide to come here?" Suddenly, he was in front of me, towering over my, now shaking, body, "I didn't decide to come here," He hissed in a threatening tone, "I was forced here." After that, he seemed to collect himself slightly, stepping back, "Is that what happened to you? Did the brothers make you come here?" I shook my head, "I went threw the portal when Bl-...when one of them left." He tensed, as if he was going to yell at me again, but relaxed again, muttering half to himself, "Of course, you wouldn't know what this place really was like..." "Why did they force you here?" I blurted out, instantly wishing I could take it back, seeing his expression change. After a moment of silence, he spoke softly, "I haven't talked to anyone in eight years....I've been in this damned place for years....in complete isolation....fighting to live everyday....and now, you're here..." I listened to him, holding his stare. Brice continued, "I assume you know what they're like? Is that why you're here?" I nodded slowly. "How much?" "I know that Blaze is a lying psychopathic freak." Brice gave an amused smile, "Oh? What did he do?" I looked away, blushing darkly, "H-he acted all nice, th-than....took control of my body or wh-whatever..." Brice sighed softly, "And what about Ice?" "I-Ice? I-I don't really know..." I trailed off, "All I know is that I'm in this mess because of him..."
"How so?"
"W-well....I moved to the tundra to escape my past, and Ice was...kinda there, and well, tried to kill me, so I made a Nether Portal, and went to the Nether, and met Blaze, and than they fought over who got me, and then I woke up in Blaze's bed." Shaking his head slightly, Brice chuckled, "It seems you had an eventful time." I agreed quietly, looking back at him. His smile faded, "So that's your story, huh? I suppose you want to hear mine, right?" I nodded once again, now curious. He sighed, leaning against the wall, "Well, it started much like yours, I crossed one of their paths, and got tangled between them. I wasn't killed, as they usually did with any other of the poor souls that cross their paths, no, I was instead used as there," He paused, spitting out the last word in disgust, "Toy. Eventually, after countless painful torture, they started becoming... well... nicer in a way. I managed to get information out of them, mostly, if not only, Blaze. After a while, I fell in love with him, and him only. He'd bake me little cakes, and would allow me to explore his castle freely. Then... when no one was around... I stole a sword, sharp enough to pierce even the strongest of armor, and I tried to escape. Even if I loved him, I didn't want to be there.... I had a home I had a family. No matter how much I could love that thing, I wanted freedom more. With a heavy heart, I made it to the portal, and just as I was about to go threw.... Blaze found me. I still remember his expression.... he was sad ...he looked hurt. But so was I. I was scared, a-and I.... I tried to kill him." Brice was choked up, he was holding back tears, "I managed to stab him, quite a few times. Apparently.... that didn't work. He simply healed, nothing but a thin white scar left behind, almost invisible. Blaze snapped that day. He tortured me one. Last. Time. And dragged me to his room, slammed open his closet door, and took my into a room I never seen before. He forced me to stand in front of that damn portal...He grinned, saying 'Farewell my dear', ad threw me in." Brice turned away, wiping tears from his eyes, "I've been hear since." I stayed silent, watching as this grown man was trying not to sob. Once again, my thoughts swarm. Finally, I said quickly, "W-wait! While I was there, in his castle, I found some cake mix! A-and Blaze seemed really upset that I did, he said something about someone loving cake, and well, you seem to be that someone!" He laughed harshly, "An act, to draw you in." I frowned, "But why would he need that act? I mean....he could of just as easily left it out, and I'd still feel the same...so, it couldn't be an act." A small spark of hope appeared in his golden eyes, but it was gone as quickly as it appeared. Brice spoke in a low, harsh tone, spitting out the words as if it were poison, "That damned creature is nothing but a heartless beast, and he will never be anything but that."
