I'll start a chapter, right half of it, and then stop, leaving it for a few days, and then go back to it. Hopefully that explains why updates are slow XD

Y/n pov

I went silent, staring at Ice. I didn't move and I held my breath. Ice looked hurt, it was a mixture of guilt, regret, and heartbreak. But what was he expecting? Slowly, shakily letting out the breath I was holding, I shook my head. "N...no." I whispered, "D-don't you dare fuck with my mind!" I yelled, harsher then I intended. I got off the bed, standing up and glaring at him. "You'r a damn liar! You-you don't love me! This isn't fucking love!" I practically screamed, watching him flinch, he looked like he was going to cry. And I wanted him to, I wanted him to feel pain. I continued to yell at him, "You don't RAPE someone you LOVE." I hesitated, lowering my voice, "Who the hell do you think you are? My entire life..I had to deal with people like you...pretending that they loved someone they didn't. What are you trying to achieve? trying to make me-" I spoke in a mocking tone, "-fall for you?" He didn't say anything. I felt tears well up in my eyes, the wicked memories I tried so hard to erase coming back. "You're just like my..." I stopped myself, unsure of what to say, or even if I wanted to say it.
"Michel."
I froze, staring at him in disbelief, my voice barely above a whisper, "What did you say?" He shook his head, looking at me with sad eyes, "Michel Richard." I shook slightly, "H-how.."
"He was a scientist, he created his little monsters. Some didn't obey him, some did. Some were killed, some escaped. But....I never knew he had a family, a daughter." I snapped, "NO! HE DIDN'T!"Ice looked down, "He killed your-" I pressed my hands to my ears, "STOP IT, STOP IT," I stumbled backwards, towards the door. He didn't make a move to stop me, even when I spun around, and slammed the door open, running out. I blindly ran through the house. Finally, after ten whole minutes, I stopped, falling to my knees. This house was a giant maze, there was no way out. Crawling to a corner, I curled up, sobbing into my arms. I didn't understand what was happening, I couldn't. I didn't want to believe it either. Shaking, I closed my eyes, trying to calm down. Opening my eyes, I examined the room. It was a living area, or similar to it. Surprisingly, it held color. hard wooden floors, a Persian rug at the center. Book shelves covered two walls, there must have been hundreds of books. On another  wall was a stone fireplace at one wall an overstuffed red couch in front of it. There was a white, fluffy blanket thrown on top of it. There was a rose wood table in front of it. I stood up slowly, wanting to examine the stuff on the table. There was an old, worn book on it, a candle, and a photo. The candle was half melted, but looked like it hasn't been lit in years. I turned my attention to the photo, picking it up. It was an old, vintage looking photo. It showed two identical brothers, two clones. They were both smiling, each having  an arm wrapped around the other. They were in the woods, in front of -what I could only imagine- as this very house. There was a phrase scrawled at the bottom in black ink.
"Freedom feels fantastic."
I thought about what Ice said, repeating it, " Some were killed...some escaped." This must have been when they escaped from that hell hole. They looked so...happy. A memento, that was what this is, a memory from the day they breathed fresh air, ran through the beautiful world, saw how...perfect it was. But how did it end? How did they both become deceptive, manipulative, cold hearted... monsters. How did they go separate ways? How did Ice start his little...experiments. It clicked, a simple theory. What if... Ice wanted to recreate the experiments. I shuddered at the thought. Why would he want to do this? I sat it down, picking up the book. Sitting on the couch, I brushed the dust off of the cover.
The wonderful Experiments of Michel Richard.
I gasped softly, this was my...my fathers. Shakily, I opened to a random page.
Jonathon Kegon is slowly gaining ability to use his extra limbs. It took days, weeks even, to correctly re connect his nervous system. He can't control the extra attachments that come with the arms, he can barely move the appendages himself. It took Jonathon over a week to get used to his extra eyes, I don't know how long this next task will take. Let alone having to remove his organs for the new mou-

I stopped, feeling like I was going to vomit, this was sick. There was a picture of a boy at the bottom. A picture of what was supposed to happen. Four arms....six arms...a huge mouth on it's stomach. I shut it quickly. I closed my eyes, opening it again slowly. Flipping through the pages, I had to see the terrifying images. A girl with half her body missing, a boy with animalistic teeth replacing his lips and part of his cheek, another boy with a face like a rat. Finally, I found it.
I'm planning to try to create elements as humans. A terribly hard task. I'll have to fuse the elements into different genes. And I have the perfect host for just that! A small, young boy. Not a human, no, but a mage of sorts. Already possessing the effects of magic, I hope that this will make things easier, simpler.

I skipped a few lines. Every few paragraphs, I skipped lines, skimming the important parts.
I successfully created one for fire, dubbing him blaze. Blaze can create fire at will. Able to release a toxin that ignites when oxygen touches it, able to control that toxin. He comes with a fiery temper, an uncontrollable rage against everything, it'll make him the perfect solder, nothing will stand in my way with him. But, I don't know if he'll listen to me, I might not be able to control this fire.
The next one will be Ice, since I can't control water well. It, called Ice, is slightly stronger than Ice. Again, he's able to release a toxin, instead of igniting, it freezes, and can then be controlled at his will. Though, he has no emotion, at all. This is fine for me though, for he's a mindless slave to me. He'll do anything I want.

I exposed Ice to blaze, Blaze tried to attack him. When I gave him a shot, dulling his rage, they sat down, and talked. Ice didn't speak at first, but came around. I kept them together for a few weeks, and I feel that Ice is beginning to understand emotion.
I'm afraid that when Ice understands emotion, he'll act like Blaze. They're both starting to revolt. I'm afraid they'll escape.
They're gone. My prized creations are gone, they broke the door down, killed my guards, and ran away. I don't know where they are, but I will kind them.

Suddenly, a scream ran through the house, more followed. Screams of fear, screams of pain, screams of murder. I jumped, dropping the book. It clattered to the floor. It seemed like hours before the screams stopped. I stayed where I was for another thirty minutes. Slowly, I stood up. I knew what happened, but I denied the truth. I didn't know why, but I needed to see it for myself, I went through the house before I found it. An iron door ajar. Slowly, I pushed it open, and I walked in, down the steps. The massacre was so bad, that I doubled over, retching onto the ground. Shaking, I stood back up, looking around. tears streaked my face. Blood coated the walls, ripped body parts scattered around. Organs thrown about. No one was left alive. No one except one figure, huddled in the corner of one cell, blood covered his body. I hesitantly made my way over to him, stepping over the loose parts. "Alex." I whispered. He looked up quickly, "Y-Y/n, I thought he k-killed you." I shook my head quickly, carefully taking his hand, pulling him up, "We need to leave, do you know the way out?" He nodded, moving out of the cell. "What happened?" I whispered as I followed him. "I-I don't know, I-Ice..he came in and...slaughtered everyone."
"How are you alive?"
"I laid down and didn't move, pulling another," He choked back a sob, "A-another body on top of me....it was the only way to... I-it worked. What happened to you?"
"I ran away from him after...and incident...I think that caused that...I-I'm sorry." he shook his head slowly, turning a corner, "It's not your fault." I looked down, going silent after that. Alex stopped, just in front of a door. "This is it." He whispered, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a key. "Perks of being an obedient slave." He uttered sarcastically, shoving it into the key hole. He pushed open the door, revealing a snowy landscape. It was dark, midnight probably, it would be better to hide. "Now we run as far as we can."

Woo! More about the reader is revealed!
First person to name who "Jonathan Kegon" really is gets a cookie! Note his form/look!
