Chapter Nine

I tried out the new media thing, I hope it works!

It was different from going threw a nether portal. In stead of a slight tingling sensation, it felt like I was thrown into a tornado head first. I was blindly whipped around, I found that I was screaming. After what felt like hours, light suddenly erupted threw the darkness. Suddenly, I was spit into the air, and fell threw the sky. I screamed louder, the ground was rushing up to meet me. And I hit it, all the air was forced out of my lungs at once; I laid threw for a few minutes, staring at the pink sky. Wait, my eyes widened in disbelief. The sky was pink. Not that pink and orange crap that appears at a sunset, this was full on pink. The sun was a mix of blue and red, like a liquid that never mixed. Gasping softly, I sat up. The landscape around me was alien....nothing looked normal. I ran my fingers threw the grass, it felt like a crazy, mix of silk and cotton candy, just not the sticky part. It was an emerald green, and seemed to shine in the sun, it even looked blue from an angle! Next, I looked at the trees. The branches twisted and curled around each other, the base was curved; the trunk and branches were a bronze color, and the leaves....the leaves were all kids of colors, and had a metallic shine, they looked like jewels. Slowly stood up, a soft breeze swept across the landscape, the air was fresh and clean, and the temperature was perfect. This was perfect. I started to walk, ignoring the pain sparking in my joints. Something suddenly jumped in front of me. Yelping, I stumbled backwards. The beast almost reached my knees, and looked absolutely.... adorable. It looked like a mix of a rabbit and a mouse. It had huge ears that looked to be the length of it's body, the tail, however, was twice as long

It's fur was a pale purple color, it faded to blue near the belly, it's back and wars were covered in small, green speckles. The tips of it's ears ad tail looked like they were dipped in pain, or like they were melting in a way, not literally of course. It's long tail ended with long strands of fur that splayed out in a cute manor. It's shiny , black eyes starred at me, and the strange creature emitted an even stranger sound, it sounded like bells. Afterwards, it left, bouncing away in a mix of a hop and a gallop. Giggling slightly, I continued to walk threw the mysterious world. All my troubles drifted away, and for once, I was at piece. I strolled threw the forest at a leisurely pace, breathing in the air. Hills rolled around in the distant, I could see creatures scattered about. Things big and small, all seemed to be a splash of colors. A few feet away, something slithered across the ground. It looked like a furry snake, with cat ears? "What a strange place..." I murmured to myself, walking deeper into the forest. As the sky darkened to a purple, the trees thinned. It was dark now, the sky a dark blue, and strangely enough, three moons were in the sky. Unsurprisingly, they were blue. An area suddenly opened up, the same type of tree in the center. It was silver, instead of brown, and had no leaves. Curious, I walked up too it. The strange tree beckoned me. Hesitantly, I reached for it, just barely grazing the wood before pressing my hand against it. It felt like actual metal, and...seemed to pulse. Suddenly, a loud screech echoed threw the world. The grass turned grey. The trees around the area turned black, the leaves erupted in a black flame. The moons melted from the sky. Suddenly, the screeching grew louder. a shadow appeared in front of me. It grew in size, the 'skin' bubbled and popped, a black goo oozing out. Finally, it stood up, letting out a sound so terrifying, my heart stopped. It looked like the thing crawled strait out of hell. It's body was like a snakes, except for two clawed arms that protruded in front of it, a mouth ran down almost the entire length of it's body, and white eyes were scattered all over the black ooze. I screamed, stumbling away from it. The monster roared, and flung itself right at my shaking body.
