Soft footsteps echoed threw the brick halls. Two brothers-no, tow clones, walked side by side. One patterned with brilliant shades of red and orange, the other with soft shades blue and grey. "I left her in here." One said,  unlocking a door with a silver key. The door was patterned with flames, obviously the orange colored one's room. The other said nothing, his expression unreadable. Grinning slightly, the orange coated one, Blaze , pushed the door open, stepping aside. His grin, however, instantly dropped, seeing the room empty. The other, who simply went by Ice, glanced slowly around the room, stepping in. "Interesting." He said in a monotone voice, "This room seems to be empty." Blaze snarled, "I can SEE that!" His red eyes landed on the closet door, a pale light flooding threw the crack. Blaze stalked across the room, slamming open the door with such force, the door cracked, and smashed against the wall. His hidden lab could be seen in all it's glory. Blaze looked around in a rage, seeing the portals. Ice slowly followed him, speaking with a blank tone, "You were always the slow one." Fighting back his rage, Blaze hissed, "She must've went threw the portal. Stupid child....she doesn't know what's best." Ice sighed, glancing at the seething clone, "Is this a repeat of the Brice incident. You know, when you condemned him to the cursed Lands?" The fire demons hands burst into flames, than slowly, they disappeared, he hissed threw gritted teeth, "No...this will not be a another...incident. We'll find her, we'll find her." Growling softly, he approached the portal.  The purple jelly like substance swirling around the space inside it.

Y/n pov

It was the next day, the night before cold and long. "We'll have to get food." Brice explained, climbing up the latters he made. The land was just as it was before the 'night', as he called it. Pulling myself out of the hole, I eyed the pink sky. Brice pulled me up and started to walk into the metal forest. I quickly followed, smiling, "What do you eat here? Those weird bunny things?" He glanced over his shoulder, he smirked, "Precisely." My smile dropped, "Wait, really?" He hummed, weaving between the trees. "Oh..." I mumbled, changing the subject, "What are these? The trees I mean? Why do they look like that?" Brice paused, glancing at the jewel leaves that twinkled in the light. "These," He placed a hand on the trunk, "Are called Ironwood, there completely made out of, well, metal. the leaves are some kind of gem." Curious, I felt it, it was cold, and pulsed. Just like the huge tree... I took my hand away, "Why is it....pulsing?" Brice shrugged, "This place has many secrets, many things no one knows. This being one of them....Welp lets go kill some adorable creatures!" He spun around, pulling a dagger from his pocket. It was a blue leaf, sharpened at the end to a wicked point. He knelled slightly, slowly stalking one of the purple rabbit like creatures. "I-I can't do this..." I murmured, hiding behind a tree. Seconds later, a squeal broke the silence, then abruptly ended. Brice walked back over, dragging the now dead creature by it's long tail. "Help me skin it, than we can start a fire." "H-how can I help?" He pulled out a F/c sharpened leaf, tossing it over. He sat down, starting to slide the dagger in the opposite direction of the fur. I sat across from him, trying to do what he was doing. He killed it by a simple stab threw the neck, a dark blue liquid seeping out. It was slow like molasses and glimmered in the sun. "It tastes pretty good." he said, seeing that I was staring at it, "It taste like liquid sugar." "I-I'll pass on trying it." I said softly, looking away. Instead, I asked him how to start a fire. "The fur, of course. It's good to use every part of it. The meat to eat. The blood provides strength and can be manipulated into a sort of glue. And the bones can be used for tools." I listened intently, "What about the night in here?" He frowned, "The night is a terrible time. The 'Shadows' are blood thirsty creatures that will stop at nothing to kill any living thing. Everything becomes toxic to the touch, everything will try to kill you." He sighed, "I honestly have no idea how I managed to live this long." I hesitated, "I-I'm sorry..." "Don't be, we'll just have to continue to survive. At least until...." He trailed off. "Until what?" He looked down, "Until the brothers come for you, of course."
