Six's PoV

After that class was over Nathan held me back and let everyone leave. I saw Zach shoot me a look while winking on his way out. I shook my head at him and he just laughed, walking out of the class.

"So, what's up?" I asked him after everyone had left.

"Uhm... I was wondering... Maybe... If you'd... Would you like to go to Maria's with me?" He stuttered nervously.

"I thought everyone was going after school today, which I guess is right now," I said.

"No I mean like with me as in a date," he smiled at me, gaining his 'popular/cocky' attitude back.

I smiled, remembering the mission and said, "Yeah I'd really like that,"

"Awesome," he said, "I'll pick you up in about twenty minutes, I just have to drop something off at home first. Can I have your number and then you can text me your address,"

We exchanged numbers then went to leave the classroom.

When we opened the door to leave. Nathan opened it and Drew and Austin quickly pulled away, making it seem as if they'd never been eavesdropping but we all knew they had been. I glared at them and they shrunk back under my glare. I saw Zach leaning against the lockers on the opposite side of the hallway, smirking.

Oh they were so going to pay for eavesdropping.

"Bye Nathan," I said and stood up on my tip toes to kiss his cheek, "See you tonight," I winked and he said his 'byes' as well then left.

As soon as he was out of ear shot, I slapped both Drew and Austin on the shoulders then stalked away, towards my locker.

"Come on, you aren't actually mad, are you?" Drew tried to reason with me. I stopped walking abruptly and gave him a shocked/angry 'You-didn't-actually-just-ask-that-question' look then kept walking, not saying a word.

"You can't be mad at us," Austin chimed in.

"Can't I?!" I exclaimed, "Let's see, first, you get mad at me for NO reason after gym, secondly you're both complete morons, and now you're eavesdropping on my conversations. Do I still not have a reason to be mad?" I counted each point off on my fingers and asked the last part rhetorically. I stopped walking when I reached my locker and opened it, throwing my books into it angrily.

"You don't actually like him, do you?" Drew asked. I slammed my locker door shut and whirled around to face them.

"I don't know, but I guess I'll find out on my date tonight. Oh wait! You already knew that!" I stormed out to the parking lot while waiting for Zach. There was no way I was riding home with those other two! I'd probably kill someone.

While I waited I pulled out my phone and texted Nathan my temporary home address. He replied and as I was typing a reply back, Zach walked up.

"I assume you aren't riding home with either of them?" He said.

"Yep! This is why you're my best friend!" I said cheekily and jumped into the passenger seat. We pulled up at the house we were staying at and I quickly jumped out, running into the house. I speed walked into the kitchen to get some food and jumped when a voice asked;

"How was school?" I jumped around, ready to fight when I saw the lady that we were staying with calmly sitting at the table with a cup of coffee and a magazine.
