"So a spy, huh?" Nathan asked when I was finished.
"Yeah," I said as he stared at me.
"Wow that's- that's a lot to take in," he muttered running a hand down his face.
"That's normal," I said and bit my lip.
"So... What now?" He asked. I was afraid of this.
"Well..."
"Whaaaat?" he groaned.
"YouWillProbablyGetKidnappedByTheCIAandForcedToDrinkThisTeaThatWillProbablyGetYourMemoryErasedAndI'llProbablyGetANewFaceAndBeForcedToMoveSomewhereElseButThatsOkayBecauseI'mUsedToItItJustSucksForYouBecauseYouWon'tRememberMeOrZachOrDrewOrAustinOrAnyoneYouRecentlyMet," I said in one go and took a deep breath after I had finished.
"What?" he asked, looking blatantly confused.
"In short, you won't remember me or Zach or anyone else and you'll never see me again," I said quietly.
"What?"
"Is that the only word you know?"
"What? Oh! No," he said and looked embarrassed. I smiled a little but it was forced and he could tell.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I can't tell you," I muttered and stared at my shoes.
"C'mon, my minds going to be erased anyways. You can trust me," he said and sent a soft smile my way.
"I'm sorry, I really can't,"
"Tell me," he sat down and poked my stomach.
"Tell me, tell me, tell me!" he persisted, poking me.
"I can't! I'm really sorry Nathan!" I sighed. He must have picked up that I didn't want to talk about it because he gave me a look and dropped the subject.
"Fine. Hey, if I'm going to get my memory erased, can I do one last thing?" he asked me.
"Yeah but you probably won't get it erased until tomorrow," I told him honestly.
"Good. I want to remember this for at least one night," he smiled.
"And what's that?" I asked.
"This." he said and before I knew what was happening, he was kissing me.
I was shocked at first but kissed back after a bit. He pulled back and grinned at me.
"Spy or not, I liked you since I first laid eyes on you," he told me.
"Did you now?" I teased and he rolled his eyes.
"Yes and I have to tell yo-" he was cut off by my phone blaring 'Parade Rain' by Hedley. I winced at the sudden loud noise.
"Sorry," I muttered and answered my phone, "Hello?"
"I'm on my way. Don't leave until I get there. Austin's got something that you need to see. Stay safe. Someone's already on their way to Nathan's house. Someone bad," Drew got out between gasps.
"Are you running?" I asked him.
"Yes. See you soon and stay safe!" He yelled and hung up. I gave my phone a weird look as I pulled it away from my ear but soon jumped into action.
"Quick, hide under your bed. This is not going to be pretty and I don't want you to see this," I told Nathan. He gave me a bewildered look and didn't move.
"Now, Nathan. I'm not playing games!" I said.
"What? Why?"
"No time for questions just do as I say," I said forcefully. He then quickly dropped to the floor and slid under his bed.
