“Would you like to tell me what this is about?” I asked, quite rudely as I drove out of the school parking lot and onto the main road. First the guy just rams into me and has me give him a ride home without an explanation as to why. Why couldn’t Scott or Stiles take him home? Why was it ME who had to take him home? At the beginning of today, I wouldn’t be questioning it, I would be overjoyed as any girl would, but after the events and mysteriousness of today I was questioning everything that my friends did.
“Um,” Isaac stuttered, looking behind the car every few seconds even though there was no other car in sight. “Not really, can I take a rain check?”
I bit my bottom lip to keep from saying something quite awful to him that I would probably regret later. I just had to face this car ride in silence. If he didn’t want to tell me anything, he didn’t have to...even though that wasn’t what I wanted to think. “Do you just want me to drop you off at Scott’s?” I asked, hoping that would get him talking a bit.
“Uhh,” Isaac thought aloud, still looking behind us. The second he turned around his eyes filled with horror. I gave him a confused look. “Look out!” he exclaimed.
My eyes turned back to the road, widening as I saw what he saw. Someone random lady was standing in the middle of the road, without shoes. I quickly tried to swerve around her, but that’s when things got even stranger. The woman grabbed Isaac’s car door and ripped it right off the car as easily as if she was peeled off a bandaid. This caught my attention and next thing I knew the front hood of my hummer was crushed like a can into a giant oak tree.
“Get out of here and hide!” Isaac immediately instructed, taking off his seatbelt and getting out of the car. Well, what remained of a car. How was there not fear in his eyes? That girl literally just ripped the door off the car! Why was he not freaking out like I was?
“What are you going to do?” I asked, unbuckling my seatbelt and getting out as well. I could see the girl that had stood in the middle of the road make her way towards us, taking her time for some reason unknown to me.
“I’m going to hold her off, just run and find somewhere safe,” he responded quickly. “Please!’ He ran off and I immediately went off in the opposite direction of where he and the girl were having a stand off.
That little crash must really have messed with my head. I could have sworn that I saw Isaac’s eyes turn almost a gold color. I looked back for a second and I knew I must have gotten a concussion or something because it looked like Isaac and that girl had claws!
“Where are you going, lovely?” An unfamiliar voice asked. I turned around and found the source of the voice. It was the same guy that Aiden and Ethan had been talking to in the parking lot back at the school. Before I could respond, this guy grew claws just as I had thought I saw on Isaac and the girl. “You don’t want to go just yet,” he told me, quite creepily, “you’ll miss all the fun.” I felt him run a clawed hand down my cheek, and now I knew that I wasn’t imagining all this. “I wonder how mad you little boyfriend and friend would be if I made you one of us,” he smirked, evilly. I could tell whatever “he was” was not something that I wanted to be.
“Look out!” I heard another voice, this one being quite familiar to me. I closed my eyes and prepared myself for the worst but felt nothing happened. I opened my eyes and saw the creepy guy with the glasses (which were now lying on the ground beside him) on the ground and Stiles’ jeep right beside me.
“Get in!” Stiles ordered. “Now!”
I wasted no time following his instructions and hopped in the passenger side of the Jeep without a word. As I did so, the creepy guy got up off the ground, glaring at Stiles....with RED eyes? Stiles quickly pulled out of the area, as I looked back at what was going on. I saw Boyd, Scott, and some quite muscular guy with black hair helping Isaac fight against both the girl, the twins, and now the red eyed man. Not only that, but all of them had claws, oddly colored eyes, and more hair than one would normally grow.
“STILES WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!” I exclaimed, feeling my heart race. I could feel the adrenaline from the car crashing flow through my body. It wasn’t much help now, was it?
“Here,” Stiles handed me a pill from a bottle on his dashboard. “It’ll calm your nerves, and help you think straight, ok?”
I took the pill without a second thought, popping it into my mouth and swallowing it. I awaited the relief that the pill was going to bring to my head and my frenzying nerves. Instead of that relief, I felt almost sleepy or drowsy. “Stiles, what did you give me?”
“Ativan,” he replied simply.
My eyes widened. “Stiles! Do you know what ativan is? That’ll knock me out any minute now!” I informed him, slightly panicking. I had read that before in a book of my dad’s. The book was interesting, but that medicine was frightening.
“Yeah, and I’m really sorry about this. I’m going to apologize now for doing this to you but I can’t really explain everything to you or answer questions when I’m trying to save your life. Sorry, it’s easier this way,” he apologized, his voice seeming to fade a little bit as the pill started to take it’s toll on my body. “I really hope you’re not mad about this when you-”
And then I was out.

I honestly do apologize that this chapter is so short, I'm in a bit of a rush and I'm still thinking of how to write the new part because I was going to connect it to this one. Please don't hate me!
