June was being rude. But I can't complain she had the right to be rude after what happened. But I needed answers. I hurt her so I needed to fix it. I started my car and was waiting for her in my seat.  She came and sat near me silently. I watched her for a few seconds. She didn't even look at me. I hated fighting with her. It wasn't the normal us. Will we ever be back to normal?  I thought.  Then I remembered I never apologized to her. But when I tried to talk to her. She always shut me out. I wanted to make things right.

We were driving for more than 15 mins now, but neither of us spoke even a word. We were silent the whole ride. I switched on the stereo to escape the awkward silence. We stole glances of each other but then again we never spoke. We were there in really close in that confined space but in reality, we were miles apart. The silence killed me. I remembered our last ride together on my bike and how much we enjoyed that day. I thought about how times change. Now June just hated me. She barely spoke to me now. I noticed she looked uncomfortable. I thought maybe the AC was a bit chilly. I increased the temperature. She looked at me only catch me already gazing at me. She turned away swiftly. We weren't even making small talks.

Where are we going?  She asked suddenly.

Starshine supermarket!  I replied.

Alright! She said.

After a 45 min drive, we reached the supermarket. It was huge. There were more sections. It was a busy place. Anyone could get lost in that place I thought. Huge boxes of goods were placed on the top of every shelf. This places never runs out of goods I thought. I grabbed a trolley and walked beside June. The place was crawling with hungry customers. June was pushed by someone and she tripped.

Careful!  I said and caught her hand.

Uh..thanks!     she said looking at me.

I nodded in response.

We were browsing for stuff that we might need. I didn't know anything about cooking. I hope unlike me June knows what she is getting into.

Uh..you grab the mayonnaise and I ll get the vegetables!  She said.

Alright!  I said.

She nodded and walked away.

I was done really soon. I was standing in the entrance waiting for her. But then I noticed she was carrying lotta stuff. Her hands were full yet she managed to squeeze another bag. I ran towards her and took a bag from her.

It's okay! I'll manage it.   She said.

I didn't really respond. She wasn't okay for sure considering she was struggling earlier. I just smiled at her and got some bags from her.

She looked at me as if she saw some alien with two heads. She dropped a tomato and it ran under a table.

Uh..I'll get it!   I said leaning under the table.

I couldn't get it, I learned more and got it finally. I raised up swiftly, forgetting there was a table above me. But when I got up my head did not hit the hard surface of the table, instead, someone's hands were protecting me like a shield. I turned to see June placing her hands above my head. I smiled slowly. But she looked away.

I got a tomato!  I said and placing it in the bag.

She smiled faintly.

We did the payment and were walking towards the exit. My hands were inside my pockets and she was holding some bags, we were walking silently. I stole glances of her and thought she was really beautiful. How did I find such an amazing person?  I thought. I remembered how much I missed talking to her for the past few days. I remembered I needed to apologize.
