***Alli's P.O.V.***
After an evening of rolling eyes, sarcastic comments, head wacks (mostly the twins), and enough food to feed Hogwarts, mom and I headed home. After we had arived mum got started on the owl to her friend as i trudged up to my room slowly, quiet full of all the food Mrs. Weasley made for us. Well with seven kids you kinda need to make more than anybody will eat and make sure all of them are fed. Anyways, I'm just up in my room working on some summer holiday work. Why does that even exist?
"Alli!! My friend's here!" Mom yelled five days later.
"Be right down!" I hollered back. I pulled my hair up and wonderded down the endless staircase.
"Alli, this is my friend, Nymphodora Tonks." My mother said with a smile.
"Jaaaaaade." Nymphodora wined.
"What?"
"You of all people know I go by Tonks!"
"Calm down. Alli sweety just call her Tonks ok?"
"Sure mom." I replied while chuckling over the small argument.
"Well, anyways, I'm Tonks. My abilities started showing up around your age. The thing about being a metamorphmagus is that if you know how to properly use it, you can have lots of fun with it, as well as a great weapon. I use mine to manipulate dark wizards to tell me the information I need. It's kinda like polyjuice potion but I can change whenever I want/need too."
"Makes sense." I said.
"Sounds easy till you try it. Watch!" She stated. I watched closely as her mouth formed in to a dogs and her hair turned bright green.
"Wicked!" I acclaimed in complete awe.
"Alright, hair is the easiest so let's start with that. All you have to do is concentrate and think about what color you want your hair to turn." She explained. "Well give it a go!"
I nodded and tried to think of what color I've always wanted for my hair. Soon enough mum was cheering and my hair was a cross of purple and blue. "OH MY GOSH I DID IT!!!"
"And your mom was worried that you'd get frustrated right away!"
"Was not!"
"Was too!!"
I laughed at their banter, as it reminded me of what me and Angie sound like sometimes. I do hope even after school we'll still be best friends.
"Ok so now that you've got a hold of natural to something else, let's try natural, to blue, to orange. Think you can do it?"
"Defiantly!" I cheered. First I focused on blue and saw my tips turn to the cool color. I then thought of the blue fading into the orange. Sure enough, my hair made me look like a Weasley. I smiled and cheered along with my mother and Tonks.
"I think that's enough for today, but would you mind me coming back same time tomorrow?" Tonks asked as she turned towards my mother.
"Not at all! You know your as welcome here as you are your own home! I mean that figuratively of course. I don't want you eating all our food. Ali does that all on her own." Mum stated while throwing me a playful glare. I smiled like I had just caught the snitch at the World Cup final.
Tonk responded with a loud laugh. "Course. Jade you tomorrow at work. Bye Ali!" she stated and apperated, not giving a chance to return my good bye.
"Well, how does some celebratory pizza sound?" Mom asked with the biggest grin on her face.
"YEEEEEES!! NOTHING WOULD MAKE ME HAPPIER!!" I yelled and then ran up the stairs to grab my coat. Yes it's summer. But I live about 15 minutes outside of London so it's always raining.
AN: yes it's short but after not updating in months I figures it wouldn't be a problem
