Vic POV

"Babe, are you almost ready?" I called from the bathroom, where I was trying to fix my gown and cap.

"Yeah, just give me a second to get this damn gown on!" I heard a muffled thump, and then an "ow!" I walked out into our bedroom, taking in the sight before me.

It appears that Kellin had tripped on something-probably his gown-and fallen onto the floor, where he was now rubbing his head. How he hit his head, I have no clue.

I burst out laughing, helping him up. “You alright, sweetheart?” I chuckled. He pouted, still rubbing his head.

"I’m fine, but my head hurts now," he answered. "Kiss it better?"

I smiled at his cuteness, kissing the top of his head gently. “There. Better?”

He giggled, nodding. “Yeah, all better now.”

"Ugh, I swear you’re so adorable I could puke," I said, turning and going back to the bathroom to fix my cap. I heard his laugh as he followed me.

"Thanks…I think?"

"Trust me, it was a compliment," I assured him, frowning at my reflection. I saw him smile, and then he turned me around.

"Let me help you with that," he said softly, tilting it slightly and moving the tassel to the other side. I apparently had it on the wrong side. "There, now you’re ready to graduate," he smiled.

I smiled back and leaned down to press my lips to his. “And so are you. Are you ready? My parents are going to meet us there.”

He nodded, intertwining his fingers with mine. “I’m ready for anything as long as you’re here with me,” he answered quietly. I kissed him one last time before grabbing my keys and following him out of the house.

"I present to you, the graduated class of Clairemont High!" the principal’s voice boomed over the speakers. Kellin and I looked over at each other with huge smiles on our faces as we took each other’s hands and threw our caps together.

"Congratulations, baby!" he said lovingly as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I grinned at him, pecking the tip of his nose.

"Congratulations, sweetheart," I answered softly, then kissed him passionately. I heard a lot of people aww’ing, and a few disgusted people. But I didn’t care, because I had Kellin and that’s all that mattered.

"Quit sucking faces and let’s go party!" Mike said excitedly, punching our arms playfully. Kellin and I laughed as we pulled away, but I kept an arm around him.

"Let’s go," I smiled, following Mike out of the door and to the auditorium.

"I’m Vic Fuentes, a fucking high school graduate, this is my band Pierce The Veil, and we’re going to play a song called Drella!" I shouted into the mic. The kids in the crowd cheered, including Kellin, who was the nearest to the stage.

I stared at him the whole time I performed, and I swear my heart had never been into a performance as much as this moment. And I have Kellin to blame for that.

Our performance ended and we thanked the crowd before running off stage, a few minutes until Sleeping With Sirens, Kellin’s band, performed.

I was excited. I had only ever heard Kellin sing once, and that was beautiful. I couldn’t imagine how amazing he would sound with a band and some energy thrown in.

Soon enough, they were on stage. I had met his band earlier, and they were all nice guys. I knew we would all get along just fine.

"Hey, I’m Kellin Quinn, and this is my band Sleeping With Sirens! We’re here to perform a little song called You Kill Me..In A Good Way."

I watched my boyfriend with admiration as he performed. Seriously, could he get anymore perfect?

The song ended and I was almost sorry. The crowd went wild and the smile on Kellin’s face was beautiful. I knew this was what he wanted to do with his life. And dammit, I knew he would get it.

We met up again on the bleachers, where we stayed most of the night. No, we weren’t being antisocial. It’s just that we really sucked at dancing.

But that doesn’t mean we didn’t dance ridiculously for a few songs.

We laughed, reminisced on the past four years (or year, for me and Kellin) and had fun. I couldn’t think of a more perfect ending to a more perfect day.

Until a man approached us and offered Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens a record deal.

"Should we do it?" Kellin whispered to me. I smiled at him, squeezing his hand.

"I know this is your dream; it’s mine too. Let’s capture our dreams together."

Kellin smiled and turned to the mine. “Yes,” he said confidently. “We would love to have a record deal.”

And that was the beginning to our perfect life.
