Vic POV
I opened my eyes slowly, my head spinning. I groaned, rolling onto my stomach.
"Well, good morning, sunshine," I heard Kellin say cheerfully. “Get your fucking ass up, because we need to talk."
"But Kells, I’m tired," I whined. “Figured you would be, considering you were as high as the Empire State Building last night."
My eyes shot open and I tensed up. “What are you talking about?" I asked, trying not to sound panicked even though I clearly was. I heard him sigh, and the bed sunk in as he sat next to me.
"Do you not remember last night?" he asked me softly as he laid in front of me and looked in my eyes. I got lost in his blue eyes for a moment before shaking myself out of it. I thought long and hard, then sighed in frustration and shook my head.
"I don’t. Sorry. What happened?"
"I followed you to the park last night, Vic." My heart skipped a beat in fear. “I saw you smoke. You were so high you couldn’t walk straight. I dumped you off here and I may or may not have screamed at you a little bit."
"What did I tell you?" I asked through unmoving lips. “You told me how long you’ve been doing this. And that it’s laced with heroin. You told me that you won’t ever be able to stop, but I’m going to help you."
Kellin’s face was determined, and I eyed him carefully. “You remember how addictions work, right?" I asked sarcastically. “It’s easier said than done."
Kellin sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I know, but I’m going to help you, like you helped me."
"How?" I asked bitterly. “This can’t exactly be helped with coloring."
Kellin frowned at me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me in so we were literally face to face. “Quit being so mean," he scolded.
"Sorry," I muttered, placing my hands hesitantly on his waist. He smiled and hugged me tighter.
"It’s fine. But who knows, maybe we could find ways to distract you enough so you don’t smoke. Just tell me when you want to, and I’ll intervene."
"Alright," I answered cautiously. “I’ll give it a go."
"And I’m proud of you for trying," he whispered. “I love you, Vic."
I smiled a little. “I love you too, Kellin. Kiss me?"
He smiled and leaned in, pressing his lips to mine sweetly. I was lucky to have him, but I doubted his attempts would work.
I was too dependent on this drug.
~~~Kellin POV~~~
"Um, Kells?" Vic asked, fidgeting and shaking slightly. I knew what he wanted and was surprised at how soon he was already having withdrawals
"Yeah babe?" I answered, turning to look at him innocently. “Um, nothing. I’m going on a walk," he mumbled, turning around and starting to head out. I panicked, turning him to face me and placing his hands on my hips.
"Fuck me," I blurted out. He raised a brow, starting to pull his hands back.
"Kellin, I-" he started, but I interrupted him by smashing my lips onto his. I slipped my tongue into his mouth, a strangled noise of surprise escaping his lips.
"Fuck me," I moaned in the sexiest ways I could manage. “Please, I need it."
He let out a little groan, and I knew that my distraction succeeded.
