DYING LIGHT

Just a simple run and a goodnight

"James its simple i run down stairs turn on the robot to make power and come back with a radio to talk to people do you get it now."

"I dont want you to go please dont go."

"Lets play hide and seek you go hide in the room and i count down stairs okay."

"Okay i am going to hide under the bed."

James runs to the room and i go to the kitchen and get knife i open the door and close it.

Running down the stairs all i see is blood and bodies i see the basement door go through it and its dark.

I go shambling through the room till i tripped over the generator.
It took me about a minute to find the switch on it once i did the power came on.

I heard breathing and i turned around before i had time to think i was attacked by a zombie.

Its gnashing teeth got caught by the knife i am kicking and punching it.
After a couple of minutes i got it off of me.
It starts to charge at me and i am filled with anger i start ti charge at it and push it to the ground getting on top of it stabbing several times and after that i stomped its head till my foot in caved into its head.
I started to leave the room when i saw a baseball bat and took it with me.
I got to the lobby to take the radio and when i started taking it up the stairs another zombie came after me it was slow so i walked a little faster up the stairs out the radio down and got ready with the bat to swing at its head.

It was getting closer.
I swung straight for its head.
*skull creaks*
"Home run! Okay lets go."
I walk back up stairs and get to the room i open the door i walk in.

"James where you at."

"Hiding."

"Okay want to come out."

"Okay i will."

I set up the radio and turn it on.
All i hear is static after a couple of minutes
Than a group of voices.

"If you can hear us we ask you to join us at the tower down in the slums we offer protection food water shelter we need recruits. Come down my name is."
Static i could not hear anything else but i got what i need slums and a tower
So i know where me and james are going to go.

"Jake i am hungry."

"Okay i will make you a T.V dinner."

"I want the one with chicken nuggets."

"All of then have nuggets."

"Okay good."

I start making the nuggets for him and he just sits waiting for them as i set the timer i go to push the couch back to the door.
*ding*

"Jake its done it finished jake my food its ready."

"Ya i got it bud."

I take the nuggets and give him a fork he starts eating and i sit across from him just watching him eat.

"Jake why are you red."

"What?"

"Your face your shirt and shoe are red."

"Oh its nothing just finish eating and than come to bed okay."

"Okay."

I got to the bed and try to get some sleep in no time james comes running to the bead with his stuff bear he comes close to me because usually he likes sleeping with me and he always hugs me and the bear.

"Goodnight jake."

"Goodnight james."

"Goodnight mister bear jake say goodnight to mister bear."

"Goodnight mister bear."
