The slums

We finally made it to the other side of town as we crossed the free way it all locked so different the sun shined and we lost a good friend in the group do to a encounter we had with a runner...Carlos died but his death was not in vain we all were saddened but we had no time to morn his death i did not know him much but i was moved when i saw him on the floor facing us run.
His last words were "go." He knew we could not be able to help he knew the cost but he did not have to go like that.

"Okay so its us 3 and you 3 we know a safe house we can take you guys and once we do we have to go another way."

"What why?"

"We have a job to finish but dont worry you 3 will be safe."

I looked at them they are just kids but i have a job we have a job and we cant put these kids in danger.

"Okay were is the safe house?"

"See those two towers with the crane."

"Yes they use that building as there safe base."

"Okay lets go."

I turn to see james so happy it was gloomy before i met jake and james but since i met them everything started to brighten up i cant explain it but they make me happy for some odd reason.

"Okay its like a 20 minute walk if we dont get into any fights with the dead."

"Ugh why cant we just cut through the buildings they seem to connect on top and right over there seems to be a bridge to the towels floor level."

"Ugh ya that seems like a faster way we could do it."

We started to walk through the buildings and got to the little wooden bridge that was there we walked over it and right when we got to the end i turned to my left and saw a white van and a wall filled with pictures of family members and missing people candles were lit for them showing respect i looked at the floor and in white paint read #saveharran.

"Okay this is as far as we go you 3 go up the stairs and just ask for help these people are really caring people they are good people...good luck maybe some other time we will see each other again."

I watched the 3 of them run off with out saying a word jake started to head to the stairs and james right next to me started yo follow we did not say anything i just thought they would have stayed with us longer than just leaving us here with people we dont know.
