Cara's POV

When we arrived in my apartment, I shut the door with my foot as both my hands were occupied. I walked over to the couch and slowly crouched down and let go of my hold on Kendall. She landed softly on the couch in a sitting position as she was sleeping peacefully. I then turned around to face her and placed my arm under her back and my other arm under her knees, I then pulled her up and carried her bridal style. I went over to my room and carefully laid her down on my bed. I stared at her for a while thinking, Does she like me or not? I mean, she told me to bring her with me and when I looked at her she was smiling while she drifted back to sleep. Maybe not. Maybe she just wants us to be friends, maybe she just doesn't want to forget me. I then left her in my room and left the door slightly open so I could see her. I walked over to the kitchen and prepared tea again. I leaned on the counter as I waited for the kettle to whistle. After a minute, it whistled loudly and I took a cup from the cupboard and poured in some tea. I left some for Kendall incase she wanted some when she woke up. After I finished drinking my tea I felt really tired and sat on the couch. I looked across the room and saw Kendall through the little space I left on the door. She shuffled slightly tugging the sheets of my bed closer to her. After a while of watching Kendall, I started to get sleepy myself. So I lay down on the couch and drifted fast to sleep.

I woke up with the sound of footsteps. I opened my eyes slightly to see who it was. Kendall had just woken up, her hair was messy and she was just wearing her underwear with an oversized t-shirt. I guess she got a shirt from my closet and stripped off of her clothes. Kendall was sipping on some tea and turned her head to look at me. I quickly shut my eyes and heard footsteps coming near. I felt the couch sink below my foot, I guess Kendall sat down. I slowly opened my eyes again and she caught me.

"Morning." She spoke softly with a warm smile on her face.

"It's already night time." I said to Kendall.

"I know, just greeting you since you've just woken up." She said. "Thanks though." She continued.

"For what?" I asked her.

"For 'rescuing' me." She said while smiling.

"No need to say thanks. I would do anything for you anyways." I said to her.

"And for letting me stay in." She said.

"It was your request." I said calmly.

There was silence between us. I was still disappointed in her that she couldn't just say that she loved me back. I know she does. She just doesn't want to confess it.

"Why are you so down?" She asked me, breaking the silence.

"You know very much why." I simply said.

"Come on Cara, I'm straight. And I don't even know if you really love me or it's just another one time feeling of yours." She pointed out.

"So you know what's wrong." I said. "Why are you asking me then?" I continued.

"For gods sake. If you're acting like this I might as well leave." Kendall said angrily. She stood up and walked over to the kitchen placing the cup in the sink. She then walked over to my room, She wore her clothes again, placing the t-shirt she borrowed from me on my bed. She then walked out of my room with her hair tied up to a bun. When she reached the door with her hand on the knob, she spoke.

"Talk to me again if you decide to fix your attitude."

Then she left, just like that.
