Chapter 24

Kendall's POV

It's been hours since Taylor and I stayed in the waiting room, we talked about how we both wanted to kill Harry but then Taylor started to get really tired so now I was walking back and forth in the hallway thinking of all the possible results of my life without Cara, and all that came through my mind was, no life at all. Taylor was sat on one of the chairs sleeping, I guess the crying she had done paid off. Me, I couldn't sleep, I would not even want to at Cara's condition. I guess Taylor just wanted to stop worrying, cause after all the worrying a person would do for someone it doesn't really pay off. The fact that Cara doesn't even know we cried our eyes out for her.

I continued walking back and forth not wanting to sit back down, my ass was hurting anyways so might as well stand up. I was biting my nails during the process of walking and I didn't stop until I tasted something blunt. I looked at my fingers and finally realized that I bitten off to much that I had bit my skin already. My pointer finger had a small scar and a tiny blood drop was coming out of it. I ignored it and just sucked on it cause there was much more pain going in my heart than on my finger.

I was finally tired of walking, so I sat down on the chair beside Taylor, careful not to wake her up. I took my phone out and texted my friend Gigi. I didn't tell her about the accident cause she doesn't even know about Cara and I. It's been a long time since I texted Gigi because of my move to London, but here I was now, randomly texting my best friend. I was in the middle of our conversation when a doctor came up to me and Taylor.

"Umm... Good evening miss." The doctor said rather loudly making Taylor jolt back up while fixing her hair.

"Yes? Is she awake?" I asked ignoring the awkward tension.

"Yes she is. May I know your name's please?" The doctor asked politely.

"I'm Kendall, Cara's girlfriend." I then looked at Taylor who looked back at me. I sent her a glare and she spoke.

"Oh! Yeah, i'm Taylor, Cara's bestfriend." Taylor spoke, her voice a little raspy from waking up.

"Hello, i'm Dr. Kloss." The doctor introduced herself shaking both our hands. "You can come inside now. She's just woken up."

"Alright, thank you doctor!" I said as I stood up following the doctor towards Cara's room with Taylor behind me.
