Chapter 47

Kendall's POV

As we all got in my car, I drove towards my house, dropping Kylie off at Jordyn's. Gigi sat behind Lauren and I, watching me through the rear view mirror. Whenever I took a glance at the rear view mirror, Gigi either gave me a wink or she pouted her lips, pretending to kiss something. In return, I either rolled my eyes at her or stuck my tongue out.

Gigi and I must've been doing it almost every minute of the ride because after awhile, Lauren asked me what the hell we were doing. I replied to her saying it was nothing, we just do it as best friends. Lauren gave me a weird expression which made my cheeks burn. Gigi must've noticed because as I took a glance at the rear view mirror, I saw her snickering.

We arrived at my place and knocked on the door, after a few minutes of waiting, the door swung open and we were greeted by my mom. She made us come in after I introduced Lauren to her. We all went upstairs to my bedroom and hung out.

When the moon was up, I checked the time and it was half past 8. Lauren said she had to go home and told Gigi and I that she'd be looking forward to hanging out with us during school breaks if it was alright with us. I was glad, in fact, I was excited. Gigi was alright with it.

Gigi said she'll sleep over at my place and we'd go to school together the next day. After I agreed, we all ate dinner and then I offered Lauren to drop her off her house. At first she declined, saying it was alright if her parents picked her up but I insisted and soon after, she agreed. Gigi came with us as I drove Lauren to her house. She was sat beside me pointing the directions.

After roughly 30 mins. of driving, we arrived at Lauren's house. It was a bigger than mine for sure. I stepped out of the car and walked Lauren towards the front door.

"Thanks for the dinner and everything else." Lauren spoke, smiling at me.

"No problem." I replied. "Ummm... Take care." I added awkwardly.

Lauren gave out a soft laugh. She then looked at me and pulled me in for a hug.

"See ya in school." She said, playfully punching my shoulder.

"See ya." I gave her a smile, showing my teeth.

She laughed at my actions and pushed me towards my car. I then walked towards it, waving at her. Lauren then waved a hand at Gigi, who was now sitting shotgun. Gigi gave Lauren a cheeky grin which made Lauren laugh.

I started the engine as Lauren knocked on the door of her house. A silhouette of a tall man was revealed as the door opened, must be her dad, I guessed. Lauren looked back at us and gave out her final wave and we did too. Lauren stepped in and the door closed behind her.

I then stepped on the pedal, making the car chortle and after awhile, it zoomed into the road.

It was half past 10 when we arrived at my house. Gigi and I got ready for bed, taking turns in the bathroom. After that we both snuggled up in my bed and pulled over the covers.

"What a day." I sighed.

Gigi turned to look at me, she then gave me a smirk when I caught her eye. "Let's see what'll happen tomorrow."

I grinned. "Okay, weirdo."

"Goodnight Ken." Gigi spoke, turning to her side.

"Goodnight Gi." I replied, smiling and turning to my side.

I closed my eyes, not skipping a single second without thinking about Lauren Perez.
