Yin's POV
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* is the sound I'm just now waking up to as my stupid alarm clock is going ballistic. Today I'm moving with Salex to a new life. Now that I'm thinking about Salex, she's still asleep. "Salex, time to get up." I said calmly.
"No... Just five mote mi..." Salex mumbled, trailing off. If she won't wake up on her own, well...
"SALEX!!!! WAKE UP!!!! NOW!!!!" I screamed in her face, sitting on her stomach. Suddenly she sat up really fast and "Ouch!" We said in unison as our heads collided.
"Really Yin?" Salex said with a groan, rubbing her forehead.
"Yes, really Salex. We're moving to Japan today!" I said excitedly to her, holding out two plane tickets to Japan and waving them in her face.
"How did you..." Salex asked, clearly mystified at the tickets, and wide eyed.
Salex's POV
I've been miserable for a few years now, and now live in a dumpster with my great twin sister. We don't look that similar, and I have a blue streak in my hair. Neither of us deserved this.
I'm happily sleeping, when I feel a hand touch my face, " Salex, time to get up." The sweet voice of my sister said in a rather soothing voice.
I'm tired, so I say "Just five more min..." But fall back to sleep before I could finish.
Suddenly theres pressure on my chest, and a steaming sister in my face. I sit up, alarmed, and slam into Yin's face. "Ouch!" We both say.
Yin tells me we're moving. 'Moving? Where? A new dump?' I thought to myself. Then Yin startles me by holding out two plane tickets to Japan.
I'm barely able to think. "How did you..." Was all I could get out.
Japan. So soon we'll have a real home. Wow. Wait...
"Yin?"
"Yeah, Salex?"
"Where will we stay?"
"Uncle Garroth got us a house in Japan!" Yin replied happily.
"What about Aunt Jane? How is she?"
"Uhh... She and Uncle Garroth... Aren't... Really... Together... Any more..." Yin replied awkwardly.
"Oh." Well. That's news to me.
I climb out of the dumpster and walk to the store with Yin.
"What are you going to buy?" Yin asked.
"Something new for us to use." I replied.
"Like what?" Yin asked.
"Phones." Was all I replied.
