I owe you guys an explanation for why this chapter in particular is taking so long. First off, I've been updating my other book. This is one of the only two books I've been working on. This is the only book with currently more that ten reads. If my other book reaches ten reads, then I will update this book faster (or at least I'll try). Second off, I've had school work. My school is the type of school that assigns huge projects over the Winter Break. (Kill me...(JK)) I hope this helps you a bit to understand, but I don't have many ideas. Yes, it's true. I have writer's block. Ideas in the comments? Please?
"Anything..." I echo Taurtis under my breath. I sigh. I know how painful this must be for Taurtis. Well... not really, I can only assume. Ellen pulls out a book labled Book of Spells. "Taurtis!"
"Hm?" Taurtis looks over to me. "What is it?"
"I- I... I love you. I just don't know what'll happen after this. I'm scared for you. I don't want you to suffer through this... all becasue you love me. I just want you to know, that no matter what happens, I will always love you. Just know that. Always." I say.
As I say the last part, Ellen starts to hover as she mutters the begining of the spell. She gets louder, chanting the same incoherent words over and over, then screams "Altero!" rediculously loud.
Suddenly, everything is showered in a blinding light, coming from where Taurtis is sitting on the floor, only a few feet away from me, holding my hand. Slowly, he starts rising from the floor, his grip loosening from my hand.
Our grasp releasing, I hear a whisper. "I love you Salex..."
All of a sudden, everything goes dark.
