Tom was the very last person to be interviewed. He wasn't exactly skilled at magic, so his parents made him apply for the fairy godmother position. His father was a human, but his mother was an angel. Angels normally didn't interfere with the human world and whatever was happening in it. Some didn't care, but some of them, like his mother, would occasionally sneak into the human world and interfere with the humans, even though it wasn't allowed.
After two hours of waiting, he finally was called. Tom walked inside eagerly.
"Hello, I am Lily, Mr. Dreamur's assistant. This interview will be recorded, and if you seem like a possible candidate, he will see this. Are you ready to begin?" Lily asked him like she did everyone else.
"Yes" He replied.
"Alright. What race are you?"
"Angel"
"Angel? This might be even more surprising than the demon or the shinigami..."
"Well, I'm actually half Angel and half human. My mom was the angel and my dad was the human."
"Wow"
"I know right?"
"Okay... Next question... What is your name?"
"Tom Homoa"
"Now, let's imagine that you get this job. Your first shooting star's wish is to grant ultimate power to a human. Do you grant it?"
"No"
"Why?"
"I just wouldn't be able to... Probably even if I wanted to."
"So you don't have much experience with magic?"
"I don't. Unfortunately, I never get the chance to practice. So basically, I suck at magic. Just a little fact about me you might want to know before you decide on whether to hire me or not."
The interview continued, and the interviewers seemed impressed with Tom's responses.
Tom didn't know whether or not he would get the job, but he felt accomplished. He wondered who all did get it. He would just have to wait and see.
