Not So Small Secret

Chapter 48

I hobbled back stage, I walked along with my head hanging down. I should have looked where I was going because I banged my head into someone's stomach. I look up to see Phoebe and Ebony standing there.

"Hey, when did you get out of hospital? You went to the hospital only two days ago." Phoebe asked, I smiled a bit.

"I got out yesterday, with a bunch of bribing, medication and a pair of crutches." They laughed.

Phoebe and Ebony were both very nice people and had an amazing sense of humor. Phoebe was the taller and older one, she had long brown hair, she always wore band t-shirts and shorts, her make-up was a small amount but not too much.

But Ebony on the other was really short compared to Phoebe, she had dyed blonde hair, her natural brown root showed, her hair was shoulder length and was slightly wavy. She wore crop top with shorts. She didn't wear make-up, she said it looks to fake on her. And in my point of view she does look better natural. But there was something about both of them, something like a big secret they are keeping.

Hours later...

Ebony's PoV

"Why are you always like this?" Phoebe slightly yelled at me, I sit on the bed "It would be fine if we acted the same way behind the camera like you act at home, but no, you're a completely different person behind the camera" I clenched my fist, Phoebe didn't know what it was like, she was mostly open about this but for me, I was the complete opposite, I would never tell anyone. "God, sometime I wish I wasn't with you when this happens" What she said made me snap, I stand angrily.

"You have no fucking idea Phoebe, you think that'll it will be all fine but it won't be, my fucking parents would disown me if they found out" My tears stream down my face, my face read, clenched fists. I look at Phoebe, she was motionless and looks at me with guilt. I turn away from her and walked out onto the balcony. I stand with my hands clenched the railing, the wind blew through my hair, it calmed me. I closed my eyes. I felt hand go to my waist, a head resting on my shoulder. I open my eyes; the sunset was beautiful.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" she asked, I hummed a response. "Not as pretty as you" she whispered, kissing my shoulder "Look, I'm sorry, you just never talk about us to your family that I feel like something is wrong, and now I know why you never talk about us to them." I sigh

"It's not what you said, it's the way you said it" Phoebe turns me around to face her.

"I'm sorry" She said

"It's fine." I said looking at my feet. Phoebe took my chin to bring up my head

"Can I kiss you now?"
