If anyone's actually taking the time to read this story, I seriously love you! I'm trying to get it to go somewhere now. So yeah, if you're reading, please comment and tell me what you think?:D
I woke up the next morning, and started to get ready for work. I still remembered what Zack had told me the night before about Leo and I couldn't believe it. He was so shy in the coffee shop yesterday, and on the phone. There was no way he just wanted to use me for sex, was there? I tried to stop thinking about him. It was just getting me worked up. But at least it seemed to get my mind away from Zack. Maybe Leo was the trick to getting over Zack after all.
I got into work at 12, and served the few customers who started to come in for their lunchtime coffee. I noticed the girls who had been slagging me off yesterday walk into the shop and up to the counter.
"Hey, get us a cappuchino." The blonde one demanded. I sighed and turned around to make her order.
"A please would've been nice." I mumbled under my breath. I handed her drink over and held my hand out for the money. She slapped the money into my hand and scowled at me.
"Nice hair, slut." She said and walked off. I tried not to retalliate, I didn't want to cause a scene or loose my job. Zack said I was beautiful just the way I was anyway, although he might just have been trying to be nice to me, because I was upset.
I finished my shift at 5, and headed straight home to get ready for my date with Leo. I was really excited for it, but at the same time I was nervous about it, especially after what Zack had told me. I decided to try and take it slow. To see if he tried anything with me, and if he didn't then I could prove Zack wrong.
I decided to dress slightly simple, to not make it look like I'd tried too hard. I straightened my hair and put a simple red bow in it. I put on a sequin white vest, black skinny jeans, low-heeled pumps and a white cardigan. I put on a little mascara and eyeliner and was all ready to go.
I checked my phone, I had two texts.
Zack: ''Good luck with tonight Charley. Don't let him take advantage of you! Any sign of trouble and you can call me, okay? Have fun, love you. xx"
Leo: ''Hey, Charley, still up for tonight yeah? I'm really excited. I'll be there in 20 minutes. xx''
I was still excited for my date with Leo, but after the text from Zack I couldn't help but let my mind wander to him. Was he genuinely worried about me? Did he really think Leo would try something out on me? Would Zack really answer his phone, even late at night if I needed him? I knew I'd certainly answer for him, but that was mainly because I loved him. Even if he said he loved me, I knew it wasn't in the same way.
At exactly 6 PM, I walked out of my apartment to meet Leo. He was already there in his car. He beeped at me and I got in the passenger seat.
"Hey, you look beautiful." He smiled at me. I blushed.
"Thanks, you too." I replied. He was wearing black jeans and a dark grey buttoned up shirt that clung to his muscles, with the first three buttons undone so I could see the top of his chest. He looked delicious. Zack was immidiatly erased from my mind.
"So I was thinking, maybe a quick meal at the diner then a movie?" He asked me as he started the engine of the car.
"Sure, sounds great. What we gonna go see?" I replied.
"Anything you want. Maybe the new Harry Potter movie?" He said. I couldn't help but grin.
"I absolutly love Harry Potter, so I'm definatly up for that." I replied.
