Twenty One Pilots- Tear in My Heart

Marcel:

We weren't the first to arrive but we were pretty close to the front doors when they opened. As we waited for Twenty One pilots to come on Jay and I got some snacks. I may have been mistaken but I thought I saw that vampire guy in the crowd. As we made ourselves back towards the front I was looking around at all the cool costumes and makeup everyone had on. Glow sticks are being thrown everywhere along with beach balls and people. I am already having fun.

"The smile on your lips suits you," I jumped before turning to find him standing there in his straight jeans and Twenty One Pilots t-shirt. It's the same one I have.

"What the fuck?" I let out as a girl approached him.

"Shock isn't what I was going for," he smirked. There is something different about him. Something more dangerous than before. Whatever it is I can feel it and it excites me and my wolf.

"Sorry, I just didn't expect to see you here," I said looking away from them. The girl is beautiful. Her smell is odd but still a little cold which means she's a vampire.

"Marcy," I turned to see Jay coming over to us.

"Hey, I was just sidetracked," I said and turned to find that they hadn't disappeared.

"Friend of yours?" Jay asked rubbing his nose. He doesn't like his smell. That's hilarious.

"Not exactly, I just met him the other day. I don't even know his name," I said feeling stupid for wanting to rip the vampire girl apart. I didn't even know this guy not even a little.

"My name is Kaineth," he said not looking away from Jay.

"Marcel," I gave him my name. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow at the ball,"

Fully turning to Jay, I handed him his drink. I took the bag of m&ms from him. I felt when he put distance between us.

"Dude, were those fangs?" he asked when we got to our seats.

"Yeah, those were fangs," I shrugged looking at him.

As the music got louder and everyone started to shout. I decided that I needed to let this go. That thing is nothing to me. I can't like him we aren't even the same paranormal beings. What I feel is probably the crush I have on Lestat from the Anne Rice books. There's no way I could feel anything for one of them.

For now, I let it go and began to jump up and down and allowed the music to take over. Nothing is going to stop me from drinking this two litter mountain dew drink and eating this big ass bag of m&ms while I let Twenty One Pilots take me on a ride.

When we walked out of the stadium I was on top of Jay's shoulders covered in glow in the dark paint. I was screaming out with others who were up here with me. I saw him at the other end of the street glaring at me. I waved at him and laughed. His glare almost fully faded and he almost laughed which made me laugh even harder. When I looked up again he was gone which killed my hysteria. I tapped Jay on the shoulder so that he could put me down.

It was almost three in the morning when we got back. The decorations were being put up. Cam was telling everyone what to do. He held a tablet in his hands probably going over the list of guests tomorrow.

"Good, you two are home," we looked at him and smiled. He chuckled. We must look a mess.

"You, guys. Did you have fun?" my mom asked from inside the tablet. I guess he wasn't checking the list.

"Yes, mom," I laughed my voice a little broken from all the screaming.

"Good, go shower and go to bed so you can be rested for tomorrow," she smiled that excited laugh I've only ever heard come from her. I had to laugh.

"Mom, stop bouncing," I said.

"Go to bed, kids," she said clapping her hands really fast.

"You too," I heard my dad groan.

"You'd think she was the one that gulped down that big ass drink and all that candy," I laughed as Jay went into his room and I went over to mine.

I jumped back when I saw my reflection in the mirror. My mascara and eyeliner is smeared down my eyes and I sparkled with the glow in the dark paint that had been splattered on me. I look terrible and then some. As I began to take the makeup off my mind wandered back to the pretty girl at his side.

Was she his queen? The girl with the pretty long blonde hair, the fitted white jeans, the tight blouse that looked like her massive breasts were going to pop out at any moment. Her eyes were fiery and scary like his. They seem like they held so many answers and so much mystery. Cam said mates compliment who we are was it the same for them?

I need this to go away. Later today, I will find my mate and he will make all of this disappear. I am going to be the happiest girl and dance the night away with the man that is made just for me and nothing else will matter.
