Dimitri Vegas ft. Like Mike & Ummet Uzcan- The Hum

Marcel:

My wolf pushed forward hot on my mom's tail. She blocked me out. I couldn't get through to her even if I tried. My dad is right behind us. Kaineth is ahead.

"He's waiting for her," he sighed stopping me right before I broke through the trees and into the opening. He handed me a robe.

"Thanks," I said putting it on after shifting back into my skin.

"Your shift is amazing. I've never seen any wolf shift that fast," I couldn't stay there with him and acknowledge his compliment.

"I knew you would come for me eventually," Alpha Dylan voice echoed in the clearing as I caught up with them.

My mom had studied psychology because she wanted to help the pack members that had lost their families. That and also because she likes to fuck with people's heads. I have seen her do it. Manipulating others into doing what she wants without actually having to ask. I learned that the hard way. I was never able to get away with anything. Somehow, she had always gotten me to tell on myself without me even knowing it. All of it, all of her training and energy was channeled to what she was because of this man.

"You," my mom growled and stepped towards him.

"Mom, stop it," I tried as my dad's wolf jumped into the opening.

"You don't understand, Marcel," she said. I had never heard so much pain come from someone especially not my mother.

"Killing Alpha Dylan won't make all of this go away. I will still be mated to a vampire, everything that you feel will still be right there. You taught me that. Why do you need someone to blame after all of these years?"

"I've hidden behind this lie for all of these years. I never forgave him and he paraded himself and his happiness in front of me like if nothing mattered. I should have killed him when I first found him,"

"It wouldn't have changed anything, mom. I would still be mated to Kaineth. You will still feel what you feel right now. All you are doing right now is hurting all of us, especially dad. What do you think he feels right now knowing that you haven't let Dylan go?"

"I don't care about him," she said not taking her eyes off of alpha Dylan.

"Then let him go. You yourself set up the rest of his life so he could live with the guilt and regret. Let him die in his own self-loathing. Killing him is doing him a mercy. He didn't give you or my grandparents mercy, mom. Let him suffer he deserves it,"

She finally turned to look at me with her eyes filled with tears. As she started walking towards me my dad howled. His howl made us both look up towards him as he charged forward taking Dylan's head right off his body. No one said a word as he shifted back. Kaineth tossed him a pair of shorts and he slipped them on like it was nothing.

When he finally walked towards us all we can see is the blood. It covered his mouth, his chest, and his arms. My mother smiled. It was that special smile that every mate holds for their other half. He walked up to her and took her hand like if he hadn't just killed the man laying on the floor headless. Like we hadn't watched him do that.

"Welcome to the family Kaineth. This is what you're getting yourself into," my dad smirked glancing back at us.

The paws in the distance made them turn around. Damien and Sahara, Dylan's pups stopped to look over the corpse of their dead dad. They weren't the ones in wolf form the rest of the pack was.

"Alpha Martak our ties to you no longer exist," Damien growled.

"She didn't kill him," my dad said. "I did. So if you have any trouble with what I did. Take it up with the council. Raise a war against me and the treaty is over,"

"Remember we are no longer two packs. It's just one now. And yours raised by my mother's terms. There is no way you can come at me. You'd be dead before you even tried," I said stepping forward staying behind their borderline.

Damien growled at me meeting my challenge. I growled back his eyes scanned me in a hateful manner. Whether he brings this up to the council or not we'd soon be at each other's throat. Kaineth stepped forward and pulled me to him baring his fangs at him the. It's weird, their eyes met like they had some kind of history.

"You're alive," Damien finally spoke.

"It's going to take more than a couple of pups to kill me, Damien. Be satisfied that I didn't kill him that night but rest assured that one day I will come to collect what was taken from us. You and your sister will never be safe," I didn't say a word when Damien growled.

"Have you told her yet?" he smirked looking at me.

"Told me what?" I asked.

"His kind turned my nephew last year. Now, he thinks he has some sort of claim over him,"

"The boy would have died, Marcel. It's their fault they were experimenting with him. He is half human and the wolf part is long gone. The boy is my kin now. Blood of my blood and if you won't let me have him well I suggest you prepare yourself because he will come to me of his own accord. One former vampire can destroy entire cities if it means getting to his master,"

"You can't have my son. I just wanted him to be human," Sahara growled.

"Your son is dead, Sahara. You should know that by now. He is mine. I am king now. Taking back my boy is my first objective," her demeanor changed. The look in her eyes is of defeat.

"Take him,"

"No," Damien growled pulling her back.

"What has he done?" Kaineth asked stepping over the line. The wolves all growled at him. "Tell me where he is or I will rip my way through here,"

"No, Sara," Damien said shaking his head.

"We can't control him anymore," she shouted pushing him away from her. "I hate you. All of this is your fault. All of it,"
