Marshmellow ft. Selena Gomez- Wolves

Kaineth:

Once I caught her scent I began to look around for her. I caught sight of her in the crowd. She was jumping up enjoying herself with everyone around like they were all childhood friends. How amusing that she and I have the same taste in music.

Come to think of it she even dresses similarly to us. Her goth attire is fitting on her. The thick eyeliner, the dark purple tint in her hair. It's like she knows this is where she belongs, at my side. I didn't want to follow her but I couldn't help it. I had a clear view of her and the fun I had promised myself is long forgotten.

She has the most beautiful smile I had ever seen on anyone. The way her alert eyes swept her surrounding assured me of her power and what she is, an alpha female. She isn't docile like other girls in my coven. This girl knows the thrill of the hunt. She doesn't need anyone to hunt for her. Before I knew it I was standing right behind her.

"The smile on your lips suits you," her body tensed up as she turned around and looked at me in shock. Alissa came and stood next to me. My father had insisted I bring her with me in case I ran into trouble.

"What the fuck?" she shouted over the music looking at Alissa. There is anger in her eyes that chilled me. She then she directed the anger at me. A boy came up behind her and the anger completely subsided from her eyes. "Hey, I just got sidetracked,"

"Friend of yours?" he asked rubbing his nose obviously not liking the way I smell. Did she dislike it as well? I had read wolves and vampires didn't smell appealing to one another, however, her scent had sent me on a rampage. It's the most intoxicating thing I had ever come across. I can't get enough of it.

"Not exactly I just met him the other day," she looked away from us as if realizing something. "I don't even know his name,"

"My name is Kaineth," I said without hesitation.

I can't help but want to tear the boy apart. It wasn't anything he had said in particular simply the way she reacts to his presence. Where they wolf mates? How is that even possible? She belongs to me but does the wolf in her belong to me as well?

"Marcel," she said looking away like she had lost interest in our encounter. It stung. "I'll see you at the ball tomorrow,"

She walked away from me after exchanging drinks with the boy. She easily brushed it all off like it had meant nothing to her. Her smile returned and it's mirrored in his. As the music began the rush of the audience began to thump in my ears. All I can hear is the elevated heartbeat of the boy I wish to tear apart. Sometime during the show, he lifted her up on his shoulders and she danced to the sway of the music completely engrossed by it.

"This is tedious, Kaineth. I'm going home," Alissa blindly looked around and left.

She was shouting up in joy as they walked out of the stadium. I stood across the road watching as she continued to have fun. I didn't intend for her to look at me but she did. Our eyes met, the anger and hurt were probably shining in my eyes because her smile got bigger and she let out a heartfelt laugh. It was like she had erased the anger in me and filled it with happiness in that instant. I almost laughed but I caught myself when he looked up at her.

The anger returned when she looked back down at him. Always taking the attention that solely belongs to me. I left. Leaving behind any thought of what just happened. I would let her go if she were happy with him. I couldn't take that smile from her. There is nothing more I want from her than that.

The happiness she displays is all I want for her. Granted, I want to be the one to give it to her but if she chose him then I will have to be perfectly fine with that. Even if I did want to rip his disgusting throat out with my very hands the boy will live as long as he made my Marcel happy.
