"What will you do?" I asked Lucas, worried. "Don't worry about me. You're the one that just almost got killed. Plus, Janice always forces people to be interviewed," Lucas said, sliding his back on the bench. "Yeah, but I just got a message from my parents.. They say I have to get home," I explain to Lucas. "Alright. Grace and I will walk you there," Lucas says, getting up and handing me my backpack.
We all head out of the park and walk to my house. Minutes later we arrived, and I walked in the house. "Hi honey," Mom yelled from the kitchen. I dropped my backpack on the table beside me. I could smell the steam of grilled pork and chili coming from the kitchen. Dad walked out, seeing Lucas standing behind me. "Hello, Lucas. How have you been treating my girl?" Dad asked, looking down at him. "Fine, sir. How are you?" Lucas asked. "Where were you two?" Dad asked, as Grace popped up behind Lucas. "I mean three," Dad corrected, crossing his arms. "Park dad, I'm fine," I explain to dad, rolling my eyes. "Sir, if I have to be honest with you, Faith fell in a river at the park and she hit her head," Lucas explained.
I nudged Lucas in the stomach and glared at him. "Faith?! Are you okay?!" Dad asked, worried. I nod. "We're taking you in the doctor tomorrow," Dad told me, staring at Lucas. "Thank you for being honest, Lucas," Dad said, smiling. "You're very welcome. I have to go, see you in Sweet Seat babe," Lucas said, kissing me. I wave as he walked out of the door. "Can Grace spend the night?" I ask, trying to switch the topic. "Sure. Do you like chili and pol-pork?" Dad asked. "I love it!" Grace replied. "Awesome, sit at the table and Mom and I will eat with you all," Dad instructed. We nodded and sat.

After we ate, Grace and I went upstairs. "Ugh. I have a doctors appointment in the morning when Sweet Seat will be on," I moan to Grace. "Don't worry girl, I'll tell you all about it," Grace told me. "Alright. Thanks," I tell Grace. She smiled and nodded.
