~Stephanie's POV~

"Wake up Bunny," no doubt my brother yells, shaking me back and forth.

"Okay, okay, just get out of my room," I say, sitting up slowly.

"You okay," he asks.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be okay," I look at him confused.

"Well, Jake cheated on you with my girlfriend and now we're grounded," he says.

"I'm a little over Jake, but not entirely. And you act like we've never been grounded before," I say. I mean, we always get in trouble, so being grounded isn't new.

"So, it still sucks," he gets off my bed and heads to the door.

"Oh, and you have a huge pimple right on your chin, it's really gross," he says then leaves.

I gasp and head into the bathroom; turns out, there is no pimple. I will choke him.

I walk back into my room, straight to my closet, and change into a leopard print skirt that goes above my knees, black crop top, and black flats. I curl my hair so it's wavy and part most of my hair to the right. I put on Chapstick, and sharp eyeliner. I get my backpack and head downstairs.

I go to the kitchen for a red apple.

"Come on Steph," Conner calls from the living room.

I speed walk out of the kitchen, apple in my hand, and out the front door.

When we get to school, our group is split in two; obviously most of Taylor's friends on the other side of the tree and our friend's on the opposite. Most of me and Conner's friends are guys, there are only 3 girls out of about 15 people. Taylor's friends are only girls and 3 boys out of the 10 of them.

Me and Conner walk over to our group and greet them.

"Hey guys," I smile, then spot Jake sitting on the grass next to some of his friends.

He looks at me and smiles apologetically. I just sigh and sit next to him. He looks sort of surprised that I did so and Conner is glaring daggers at him.

I look at Jake and say, "I don't hate you, it's just that I hate Taylor," I shrug and he nods, "I guess I didn't expect it to be her you slept with. If it were any other girl There would have been a better chance of us getting back together. I get it, people make mistakes," I explain.

"I understand, but," he takes my hand, "I love you and that will never change," he says. He looks serious, and that's really scaring me. I don't love him.

I take my hand back slowly, careful not to offend him, "I'm sorry Jake, but I don't feel the same way. I like you, but I don't see a future for us," I say sadly.

He sighs, "I get it," he says.

I smile, "we can be friends though, I would really love that," I say.

"Yeah," he smiles back, "friends."

We even shake hands after the awkward conversation.

When the bell rings, we all get to our classes.

The whole day, I think about Luc and when he'll call me. I guess he's not interested, too bad...I actually felt something between us.

~Luc's POV~

After I eat breakfast, I go down to the arena where there is someone who has been wanted for about a year. Sometimes they bring criminals so I can practice my fighting skills. Seems pretty sick and sinister, but who cares.

He's a warlock, wanted for illegal drug use in hell and unauthorized bloodshed of humans. We could've been exposed if someone hadn't cleaned up his mess.
