Rich with Nic: A TomBae Tale {COMPLETED}

Cold War

Rich grimaced at the sight of Jimmy devouring the lechon manok's thigh in one bite. They are now in his personal kitchen, adjacent to his office.

Ruby regained consciousness after some time, after Rich almost choked to death due to her heavy weight. It took everyone -- Jimmy, Jose, Wally, Paolo, Nic, Mrs. Bautista and Ryan -- to extract her from Rich.

After which, she whispered to him naughtily, "Ambango-bango mo naman, Mr. Perez! Ang sarap-sarap mong amuyin. . . at saka halikan! Puwede ba kitang halikan mamaya?"

Rich whispered back at her, smiling inspite of himself, "Hindi ho puwede. Muntik na nyo akong patayin eh!"

Ruby giggled, still whispering, "Sabi ko na eh, hindi ka naman masungit. Ang poji mo kaya! Salamat sa pagsalo mo!"

He had looked at her incredulously, laughing, "Excuse me ho, hindi ko kayo sinalo. Binagsak nyo sarili nyo sa akin!"

Which caused Nic to charge at him, threatening him with her pointed finger, "Hoy! Huwag mong binabastos-bastos ang nanay ko ha? May pabulung-bulong ka pa diyan! Hambog ka na, wala ka pang galang sa matandang babae! Gagawin ko talagang resting place mo itong Resting Place Funeral Homes mo!"

"Hindi ko siya binabastos, uyyy! Masyado kang judgmental. At wala kang pake kung nagbubulungan kami."

If it were only possible for smoke to come out of Nic's nose because of anger, it would have, at hearing him say the last sentence.

Ruby instantly grabbed Nic by the shoulders, ushering her towards her father. "Ay, ay, anak, hindi nya ako binabastos, don't worry about Nanay. Nag-thank you lang ako sa kanya. At saka kung maka-matandang babae ka naman, masyadong madiin! Halika sa Tatay mo."

Jimmy had then complained that he was very hungry, and Mrs. Bautista remembered there were some leftover pieces of chicken in the kitchen. Rich was gesturing her not to bring them there, but either she did not see him (which was impossible) or she intentionally ignored him. He has more reasons to believe the latter than the former.

Which is why they're all here in his private kitchen, Jimmy eating the chicken which came from his personal refrigerator, and sitting on his favorite chair while munching ferociously on a roasted chicken leg.

Jose asked him, "Tay, ano ba nangyari? Namatay na kayo, di ba?"

Wally slapped him on the back. "The way you say it, you're regretting he's alive!"

"Of course not! Nagtatanong lang ako." Jose whispered to Nic. "Kuya Nic, paano pala yung inutang mong sampung libo? Eh hindi naman pala natin magagamit kay Tatay."

Nic angrily looked at him. "Problema ko na yun! Ang intindihin natin, si Tatay."

Muttering, he replied, "Tinatanong lang eh. Anubanaman mga tao dito ngayon, kaiinit ng ulo!"

Jimmy started to speak despite the food in his mouth. "Hindi ko nga alam nangyari eh. Ang alam ko lang, may gumising sa akin nung nasa loob ako nung kuwartong yun."

All at the same time, all of them asked:

"SINO?"

"Matandang lalaki na mahaba at maputi ang buhok, tapos mahaba rin balbas nya. Parang si Dambongdor."

Rich smirked. "Baka Dumbledore ibig nyo sabihin? Yung sa Harry Potter?"
