How am I even supposed to prepare for summer vacations? I have literally never done this before. What am I supposed to pack? Ugh, this is where not being a proper girl stinks. But that's me. And I can't do anything about it.
But I first, I am in dying need of a shower. I just returned from my daily morning jog and yeah, I need to get to school after this. Being the leader of the Council doesn't get me rest. I have to help my mom with stuff.  So maybe I can get suggestions? From friends? Yeah, I will do that.

I pick out my usual apparel after shower and get ready

I pick out my usual apparel after shower and get ready. Guess, I ain't that girlish am I?

"What? How can you not know what to pack and what to do?" Chris exclaims.
"Well, I am not like you, Chris." I reply, annoyed. She sighs.
"We have to go shopping for this. Its the only way we can get you out of this crisis!" She says and I roll my eyes at how she is making this into a big deal. Marlene gasps.
"Oh Tris! What did you just get yourself into?" She asks. I shake my head, not knowing what the deal is.
"You will find out...soon enough." She says, sighing.
xXx
"Why're we here again?" I ask.
"We need to solve your crisis." Christina exclaims.
"Don't you need to be in sup class?" I ask.
"That doesn't start until 3. Never mind that. Let's go!" She exclaim. I sigh. Marlene was right. What did I get myself into?
Many different types of shops. And I am already bored.
"First, we need bikinis." She says.
"What? No way!" I say. I barely even have something called a body for that.
"Oh grow up, Tris! Even children wear bikinis!" She says, as if she read my mind.
"Alright. But nothing too revealing." I say.
"Fine." She replies.
One hour later....
She still hasn't found one yet. But I hear her voice.
"Finally!" She says. "Try this!"

It something that finally meets all my criteria

It something that finally meets all my criteria.  I quickly change back into my clothes and go outside.
"Yes, this is the one." I say.
"Yay!" She says. After paying, we buy more stuff like party dresses, make up, etc. I don't understand why we need all this but at least I have something to bring.
"We are done!" She says, when we get out the mall. "We will come here for something else another time."
"Now come on. You have holiday class and I have extra work in the office to do." I say.
"I know. Let's go." She says.

I am finally done with everything. Sometimes, I just wish for a better and more carefree change. Maybe this vacation will take my mind off things? Yeah, maybe.
"Hello Tris!" Four greets as he steps in the door to the Council Room. My heart flutters. My stomach has butterflies. I don't know why.
"Hi!" I greet back. "What brings you here?"
"Just felt like seeing you." He says. "You're coming right?"
"Yeah, so are my friends." I say.
"Great, we would love to have you there." He says. "Its a good thing we didn't invite our 'girlfriends.' We are keeping it a secret from them and please do not ruin it. Tell your friends too."
"Okay, but why not?" I ask.
"I don't want her to be there with me. Every single second, clinging to my arm." He says, irritated at the thought.  "That's why I invited you. For a change. I can tell this vacation is gonna be amazing."
"Right." I say.
"So what're you doing?" He asks, changing the subject.
"Just getting some extra work done." I say. "And my friends have holiday sup classes."
"I, for one, can tell that you need a vacation. You guys need to chill. Have you even been sleeping properly?" He asks.
"Not really." I say, sheepishly.  "Being a Student Council President isn't that easy."
"Is it?" He says. I nod. "What do you even do? Just sit around all day and look at papers right?"
I shake my head, laughing. "Being a Student Council President has much more to it than just 'sitting around all day and looking at papers.' Much much more, Mr. Eaton. I , for one, can tell that you have a long way to go in learning about the Council's jobs."
"Sorry." He says, smiling sheepishly.
"You can basically call me the school's '2nd principal. ' I am that busy." I say, trying not to sound like I am boasting. "All my mom does is just plan, plan and plan! But we are the ones who actually carry it out. All your school events that you love having. Where do you think they came from?"
"That amazing music show last year, that was your work? Man, its time I started worshipping you." He says and I laugh.
"All courtesy of the Council." I say. "Then comes the discipline part."
"The one where the Councilors go around catching mischievous people right?" He says.
"Yep. All those nonsense is reported to me and I have to deal with it." I say.
"I see." He nods.

"So you basically do everything in the school?" He asks.

"Yes." I reply.

"You need a break." He says. "You must come for this vacation. It will really take your mind off things." He says. I agree with him.

"Oh hey Four!" Marlene's voice sounds as she enters through the door.

"Hey." He replies, nodding to her. "What are you doing?"

"Just came back from sup class. Its honestly so tiring. I don't even see the purpose of this class. I am already doing well." She whines, looking at me.

"Christina?" I ask.

"Her class ends later than mine." She says. "Which is even worse."

"Huh, sad life." I chuckle, along with Four. "Don't you have classes?"

"Nope. I keep up my grades, believe it or not." He says. I am not surprised. Not at all.

"Oh, that is nice to know." He says.

"I said that out loud didn't I?" I ask. They both nod, laughing. I join their idiocy, since I can't glare at them.
