Being true, Being you

Have you ever tried being true,

or do you give up on just being you.

Some people dont accept their own face,

or try to fit in another place.

They dont think that they belong, or

think they are a kind of wrong.

That they were just not meant to be,

but they're missing something they cant see.

For beauty is not always both inside and out,

but it is the inside beauty that counts.

Other people tend to still turn away,

no matter how much you comfort them or say.

So just be patient for the people that are still blind,

for it is they're own heart they need to find.

It doesnt matter what color, weight, or race;

for you are you and full of grace.

I hope you will be able to see,

that you are who you should be.

And please do not think to long,

because no matter who you are you are strong.

So if you see people stare,

it's just because they think it's not fair.

That you always have a friend by your side,

that tells you you are beatiful on the inside.

Dont ever have self-doubt,

for your beauty will soon sprout.

And do not think yourself an ugly duckling,

for your beatiful swan is erupting.

And soon you and many others will see,

that you really were meant to be.
