Mysterious creatures roaming through the night.

They appear to be lonely, so full of fright.

But when you get up close, all you do is stare.

These eyes full of wonder, they say "touch me if you even dare."

They run from the smallest noise.

An aura of trouble follows it where ever it goes.

They can be so friendly and vicious at the same time.

They live long and full lives, but they only have nine.

Some people mistreat them, as if they were toys.

Others love them till they are spoiled.

We watch them as if they are wild.

But really they only have the spirit of a carefree child.

They love to climb and hang from trees.

Whenever they fall they end up on their feet.

Sometimes they come and go.

Its part of their life, its their kind of flow.

They can never be held back.

Do not keep them as prisoners, because they will attack.

These animals are hard to figure out.

They are full of confidence and know no doubt.

We never know what it is for they strive.

All we know is they are the mysteries of life.
