You looked around the perimeter to check for risers. There were a couple of risers but was far enough for you to outrun. You walked back to the dumpster behind the building, you were hiding in and grabbed the duffel bag full of goods you got. The building was full of dead, but you didn't have to kill to get these stuff. You only had to sneak inside the pantry of the building, locking in risers inside rooms or luring them inside one. You could've killed them but you're gun only had 5 bullets left and that would only attract more of 'em.

You were to go when you heard gargling sounds inside the dumpster. You didn't want it to attract the dead so you climb up the dumpster and got ready to open the cover. The putrid stench of rotten meat attacked your nose and what you saw inside made you gag even more. Inside was two naked and dismembered risers. They didn't look to have been bitten.

"Oh God... Ugh..."

You looked away not wanting to think of what happened to the two corpse so you closed the cover and jumped down. Tears brimming the corners of your eyes.

You jogged quietly towards the fence of the mall, passing risers but outrunning them immediately. Once you passed through the fence, you entered the woods in search of your hidden motorcycle. You looked at the map and encircled the next place you would search for you cousin. Glenn was a pizza delivery guy. He was on shift the day it all went crashing down. You waited for him at the small apartment you both shared in Macon, Georgia... But he never got back. You know he was still alive... He's smart. You will find him.

The next secured place where your cousin could be was a prison, here in West Georgia. It was one of the place you never get to check, the reason being it was far and a bit secluded. The last time you passed the prison it was full of dead inmates, officers and walkers. If he isn't in there... Then all hope is lost...

You walked your way to the road and hopped on the motorcycle. The loud engine reached your ears and you smirked to yourself.

If people saw you, they'd probably think you were crazy for driving something so loud in this hell full of rising dead. But I've been driving this ever since Macon. You found it faster and a lot easier to carry when looting, since it was easy to hide.

You pass by multiple risers and pools of blood on the road. You still can't believe how fast the dead took over everything. You're actually glad your parents died before all of this happened.

Fences of the prison came to view and what you saw spiked excitement in your chest. There were cars that blocked the sides of the gate and long steel that were used as spikes to keep out walkers. He's got to be here, right?

"Hey!! Do you have room for another survivor?!" You yelled to the brunette near the gate.

She looked startled and you saw two more people running towards the gate. The gate opened and you walked your motorcycle inside. Five people surrounded you with guns aimed to you.

You scanned them all and disappointment struck you when you didn't see Glenn. You raised your hand to surrender.

"I get it. You don't trust me... You're nervous..."

A guy with thick beard and curly brown hair approached you and checked you for weapons. Then a red neck took your duffel bag and checked inside.

"You bit?" He asked with a deep voice.

"Nope." You said popping the P.

"How'd you find this place?" The one who checked you asked while looking straight to your eyes.

"I've been looking for my cousin... This is the next secured place he could've survived in," Once again you looked around and saw no sign of your cousin.

"But I guess he isn't here..." You finished with a sigh.

"What's 'is name? Yer cousin?" The redneck asked still pointing a crossbow at you.

"Glenn?"

They all looked at each other and simultaneously lowered their guns. You looked at them confused and was about to ask when the gate opened behind you.

You walked to the side with your motorcycle to allow the car drive in. Three people got off the car but only one person caught my attention. He went straight towards the brunette and hugged her.

"G-glenn?" You managed to choke out.

He turned around and shock both filled the two of you. You ran to him, hugging him as tight as you could.

"Oh my god... You're alive!" You couldn't keep the tears that now covered your cheeks.

You felt him pull away and he held your shoulders. His eyes scanned you as if making sure it was you. A big grin made its way to his face and you chuckled.

"y/n I'm so sorry I didn't go back to find you..." He whispered as he hugged you again. The pretty brunette he hugged earlier then tapped him on the shoulders and you both pull away.

"Hi I'm Maggie." The brunette smiled kindly and held out her hand, which you gladly took.

"I'm A/N. Are you with my little cousin, Maggie?" I asked with a smirk glancing at the now red Glenn.

"I'm older than you y/n."

"Oh Shut up, Rhee."

Everyone chuckled and smiled at your exchange. A big grin was plastered on your face as Glenn pulled you into another hug.

I finally found him. After all those months, I have someone again...
