You all got inside after the small reunion of you and Glenn. Everyone made their selves comfortable in the cell block, while you followed behind the 'leader', you think.
"I'm Rick, that's my son Carl, that's Daryl, Carol, you've met Maggie," he said pointing at Maggie who was beside Glen smiling. "Hershel our doctor and Maggie and Beth's father, Beth and... Judith." He said walking up to the baby on a Beth's arms. You smiled at the innocent little Judith then nudged Rick with the duffel bag you were carrying.
"You guys can have it, since it looks like I'll be staying here for a while... I mean if it's not much of a problem to you guys..." You said with a shrug.
"Of course," he said with a nod and then he placed his hand on my shoulder, "Glenn has always been a great part of this group, I'm sure his cousin will be too." He continued. You smiled and say 'thank you' at his warm welcome.
Rick then told you to go to Daryl so he could take you to your cell. You glanced at the redneck called 'Daryl' and saw him staring at you. You gave Rick a nod and walked up to Daryl.
"So..." You started sheepishly. You didn't know how to approach Daryl since he gave off a 'serious and lone wolf of the group' kind of vibe.
"Follow me." He started walking up the stairs with me in tow and stopped at the 5th cell from the stairs.
You entered the cell, placing your stuff on the upper bunk. You were so happy to be able to find a new bed to sleep in you forgot Daryl was still there, when you laid down the lower bunk and let out a satisfied sigh.
You almost didn't hear his quiet chuckle over the people downstairs talking, but you did, making you sit up.
"Uhm... Thanks Daryl." You said testing how his name would roll off your tongue.
He gave you a nod and said, "If ya need anythin', I'll be on the cell next to ya'."
"Okay. I think I just want to rest for a bit." You laid back down on the bed.
"How long 'ave you been out there?" He asked out of nowhere.
"Hmm... I left Macon (Macon, Georgia) a week after it began. So about 9-10 months now, I guess. I've had many opportunity to stay with groups, but I leave when I...*yawns* find out Glen isn't with them." You said, and drifted off to sleep.
Daryl smiled at how fast you fell asleep, and decided to go back downstairs.
He was greeted by the people talking and he didn't know what got into him, but decided to shush everyone down.
"Hey. Keep it down, she's sleepin'. Looks like she's been out there too long for 'er own good." He said making everyone shut up and Glenn to smile.

You woke up to your now dark cell, only the moonlight from the small drilled window giving you some light. Sitting up you heard footsteps nearing, eventually revealing Glenn's silhouette.
"Hey, did you sleep good?" He asked leaning by the cell's entrance.
"Best sleep I've had in months!" You couldn't help exclaim and sigh. This seemed to change Glenn's expression into worried and guilt.
"Glenn. You okay?" You asked a bit confused at him staring at you. He finally walked in and sat beside you on the bunk bed.
"I'm so stupid. I thought you wouldn't even make it, the time walkers reached our town." Walkers?... Guess I'll call them that.
"I didn't go back to our apartment when I saw the streets swarmed by walkers, thinking you were gone. But here you are, survived months out there on your own... I feel so stupid and... And guilty for leaving you." You heard his voice crack at end, and you instantly hug him and rubbed his back.
"Glenn, it's fine. You don't need to feel guilty. You never left me, you were scared. If you did try to go back to our apartment, you couldn't have made it. I'm just glad your safe all this time. You kept me going... I've had near death experiences, but I never gave up. Cause I needed to find you... You're the only family I have left after all." You said sniffling and pulling away. You gave him a smile and wiped his tears.
"Now stop crying you baby!" You joked and he chuckled.
"Thank you... Now come on, you need to eat." You nodded and followed him downstairs and saw everyone taking a plate and eating. You went to Carol and thanked her for giving you a plate, which she returned with a smile.
It's nice to finally be with people without suspicion of their intentions. You almost trust them instantly, knowing your cousin has been with them all these time.
You ate quietly, watching everyone eat and talk. You felt someone stare at you and turned to see Daryl sitting at the stairs, looking at you. You looked away feeling your face heat up.
The hell is wrong with me blushing and crap?
