Glenn didn't know you went to Woodbury alone. Nobody said a word and you thanked them for it, even Merle. You weren't too happy that he's in the same roof, but you couldn't deny that he saved your life.

But then again, maybe he was just tryin' to save his brother.

Maggie had talked to you about what happened in Woodbury. It angered you, seeing her look so broken while tears welled up from her eyes. Glenn was in pain too after everything. He kept beating himself up for not being able to do anything... But he couldn't have done anything at that moment and he needs to accept that.

Everything started to go back to normal, except for the meetings the 'governor' had been proposing to Rick. Which we all knew was bullcrap... They were planning to kill Rick and this group, either the second he walks in the room or the second he looks away.

That's what we expected, so they planned something to outplay the governor. But of course they didn't tell me, I wasn't gonna be there, and Daryl was having none of my tantrums or moves on him.

"Daryl..." you had whispered watching as the redneck got some stuff ready for the 'meeting'.

He instantly stops and stares at you. He was still a bit mad about you going to Woodbury alone, but he couldn't help kissing you the moment you were alone after everything.

While Rick and everyone else started to pile into the cells, you and Daryl stayed in the truck. Rick didn't even throw a second glance when he got off.

I am in big trouble.
You thought as Daryl stayed quiet in the shotgun.

You were about to get off from the back seat when Daryl suddenly got out and beat you to your side of the door. It almost scared you, when he pulled you out by the waist. You were not expecting what he did next.

Daryl pushed you to lean back into the now closed door as he crashed his lips into yours.

After that kiss he just went straight back inside, leaving you a breathless mess by the side of the truck.

What an ass... some fine ass. Ugh.

"Stay here. Don't even try talkin' me up to let you come."

"I wasn't gonna do that... I just wanted to tell you to be careful..." You said a bit embarrassed that he got too used to your "ways" now to believe you.

"Right..." He started zipping up the bags and throwing them over his shoulders, about to leave.

He was about to go out, when you grabbed his arm, took a quick look around and kissed him on the lips. A bit longer than a normal 'see ya later' kinda kiss though. He wrapped and arm around your waist and gave you another warning.

"Stay here, got it?"

"Yessir!" You say with a mock salute.

"I'm serious, Y/N."

"I am too. Don't worry, I'll stay here if you promise to get back in one piece."

"...promise."

You smiled at this and he released you from his arm. He goes out and you were already missing his warmth around you.
