"Here is your clean shirt, mister."
I put down the pink paper bag with the black shirt inside at Paul Thompson's lap. He's sitting on a stool reading a new novel and wearing a red plaid shirt and a black pants. He frowned at me when he took the paper bag, and then smiled hiding his laugh.
I skipped my nine o'clock class just to give that to him. And I really really hope that this will be last day that I will talk to that jerk.
"You're welcome, and good bye." I told him even though I know he will not say thank you. I turned around and was about to leave the library but he called me so I stopped.
"Hey wait,"
I turned around rolling my eyes.
"Really, pink?" He chuckled lifting the bag.
I crossed my arm, "What's wrong with pink paper bags?"
Paul shrugged, "Nothing. It's just too girly, with these heart print. Anyway, did you put fabric conditioner in my shirt?"
"Yes."
He dug his shirt inside the paper bag and scanned the fabric. "Okay. You may go."
I sighed in relief, "Thanks Lucifer." I mumbled.
"But we're not yet done." I heard him say, what the fudge. I just ignored him and walked out of the library fuming. Not yet done? What did I do to him? It's obvious it was just an accident. I really hate him.
Walking towards my locker to gather my books so I can study at the corner even if I skipped class, I was surprised when I saw Kallum closing his locker, two meters away from me. I didn't know his locker was close to mine.
I waited for him to see me and he did, so I waved my hand at him. He was wearing a dark blue shirt and a skinny ripped jeans.
"Yo Effie,"
I smiled at him, "Hey."
He walked towards me and gave me a bear hug which made me gasp and surprise. He smells like smoke and strawberry. Weird.
"You don't have class?" He asked when he broke the hug. His lip piercing is so cool, I wonder if it hurts so bad.
I shrug, "I skipped class."
Kallum pouted, "Bad girl."
"Well, not really. It was Paul Thompson's fault." Paul is such a bad luck in my life.
"What did he do this time?"
"You know, he told me to bring him his clean shirt at 9 am at the library. I have class at 9 so I have no choice but to skip it rather than be killed by Satan's descendant." I stated.
Kallum sighed, omg why does he looks so damn cute. "You should've tell him you have class."
"And he'll kill me?"
He laughed, "He can't do that. If he bully you again just tell me. I'm always here."
Gosh, he's so fucking nice. I like this guy.
"He will never do that again because I'm avoiding him now." I smiled at him, "Thank you for being there."
"No problem." He patted my head. The bell rang and students are already getting out of class and going to their next room.
"So, see you around, Effie." Kallum gave me a hug again and waved goodbye where he disappeared through the crowd. My heart just melted, I know I should hate guys but he's different.
I'm gonna tell this to Kaden.
