18:20'Where does that idiot, Paulie live?'
'Down Trellick Tower, number one hundred and twenty three I think', Stiff replied.
'Well let's go kill that racist cunt"
Stiff looked at Razor. Paulie was part of the NK crew, enemies of the King crew and he knew Razor hated Paulie. Paulie, wasn't the leader of the NK's, but he was a prominent member and he was white. But racist, there was no way Paulie was racist, most of the NK crew were black and although Paulie used the word Nigga, both as an offensive word directed at the King crew and a term of endearment to his crew, there were members of the King's Crew, who were white and used the same term. So, Stiff doubted very much that Paulie was racist.
Stiff ignored the concerns he was having. It was not unusual for the King crew to "kill" a member of the NK's. This tended to involve them beating one of them up badly and awaiting the retaliation. No one ever actually died.
Today seemed different to Stiff, with all the killings going on in the news, the crews had avoided confrontation over the past week, mostly because the London police were being vigilant and also because the King's crew would all go around to Razor's house, smoke cannabis and speculate how they would handle the highly televised New England Group. During that time Razor had become a fan of Madu Obinna, who had regularly been quoted on the television, since the violence had started.
The crew had sat in shock when the announcement was made that he had been stabbed. Stiff knew that Razor's decision to "kill" Paulie was some misplaced vengeance for Obinna.
Stiff looked round the crew, they were eighteen strong, ranging from sixteen to eleven years of age.
'Let's do it', Stiff responded excitedly.
There was a chorus of harmonious chants.
Razor had decided they all leave in small groups and meet up again outside "Little Morocco", Golbourne Road, known for it's Moroccan cuisine.
